The features are almost mind-boggling. Performs two-sided scanning if needed, and the scan speed is the fastest I've ever encountered. Scan quality is excellent, even for color. The user-friendly software allows me to review each document or receipt before saving or exporting, so if I need to make adjustments I know right away. I use Quickbooks desktop version for accounting and had no trouble at all identifying fields and info I wanted to save and export. Should work equally well for Quickbooks online version. Being able to export as a "searchable PDF" is a big plus. It can also save documents as Word file or Excel spreadsheet data or even Powerpoint (Windows version). It even scans business cards. That's versatility not found in run-of-the-mill scanners. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but worth every penny if it saves time and frustration over manual recordkeeping and document retention. Setup was a breeze right out of the box and it has a very small footprint. It can be used either wired or wireless, with the ability to send scans to email or a smartphone. This thing does it all. I'm definitely impressed and will be recommending it to friends and family. My nephew is a farmer and my neighbor is a truck driver, and both professions require extensive recordkeeping. I'm sure that once they've tried this scanner the benefits will be obvious, especially to their wives who do all the accounting! I really wanted this cage to work for me and when I saw the two answers from B&H staff in the Q&A stating that it did fit the RS I was elated! HOWEVER... It does not fit the RS version of the camera, the RS seems to be just a bit taller than the R and will not slide into the cage. I've suggested to B&H that they amend their Q&A, we'll see what happens. OTHERWISE... If you have an R version this is a very made piece. The two cold shoes are great and the fold up tabs on the bottom along with the standard 1/4-20 mount threads will make fixing the camera to various mounts a breeze. Just wish it fit my camera. :(
