Arc with Sub Gen3 using Dolby Atmos...Amazing!!

I really get digital Dolby theatrical experience

Pros: As of today, they are the best speakers you can get for surrounds with Dolby Atmos in the Sonos realm. With a Sub and Arc, you can't get a much better system. They are worth the money. Cons: None.

If you want to upgrade your sound for your new TV, Sonos Arc is a must-have especially if you want Dolby Atmos. The sound is crystal clear and spacious for such a thin soundbar. You can also enjoy music, and you can hear clearly every voice and instrument playing. If you want a bigger sound and more cinematic experience, you must add a Sub and two surrounds. That's the good thing about Sonos; you can expand your system whenever you like.

Recently purchased 2, to replace my 2 play 3's used as rear surrounds as upgraded to the Arc and and Dolby Atmos. Easy to set up and worked straight out of the box, fantastic sound and with the upgrade program reasonable price. Would definitely recommend if you are thinking of upgrading to Dolby Atmos

Brings voices up. Has compressor, has limiter, can turn off Dolby sound. I am 76 years old, and have trouble understanding speech. Live in an apartment, so cannot crank up the volume. Solution: Sony HT-S100F Soundbar. Also should mention, there is no bass, sounds almost tinny. Great fpr my TV shows, not so much for your rock-and-roll. It's a good value at $100. Hook-up is a $4K HDMI cable. TV must have HDMI ARC connector. On my set, there are 4 HDMI's, and one has an ARC label. Easy. The remote control is very simple to use: things are either on off. Keep the manual handy.

The new Arc, my thoughts: The ARC replaces the Soundbar and Soundbase, now with HDMI 2.1 and Dolby Atmos support, but is it worth it? The design of the bar is a matter of taste. I want to have an inconspicuous device which fits perfectly under my TV and Sonos delivers it. Design is not really important for me, like the sound, technic or compatibility Setting up the bar: just connect the bar with your TV at the HDMI (e)Arc port and power socket. The rest is be done by the Sonos App and really an easy setting up. After setup I highly recommend to to the true play, cause with the 3D Sound, also from above, the bar will be perfectly set to your room dimensions, also the height of the ceiling. Sound Experience : The sound of the bar is amazing with Dolby 5.1 and Atmos content! It´s a real masterpiece of engineering. I replaced the Soundbase with this bar and the sound is more fuller and roomfilling than the Base, which is also a real good Sonos product. But the bar is a even better. The bar on it´s own sounds really 3D. I normally use my 5.1 (now with the Bar 7.1.2) with the Sub and two Play 1 as rears (yes, they work perfectly as rears), but for normal TV, I often switch off the Sub and rears. Very often I had to check, if I really switched them off, cause the sound was so rich ans "sub-like" and also the behind channels were hearable without rears. Really Amazing this "virtual Sourround", the Front Stereo feeling was also realistic. I´m really impressed what Sonos constructed there. Neagative: The Bar is missing an HDMI Input which is really bad since most TV don´t have an eARC for uncompressed HD Sound, like blue ray or Apple TV. Dolby Digital+ over internal TV apps work very well and delivering ATMOS

I have both the Playbase and Arc. The Arc is simply amazing. Dolby Atmos blows me away on this product. Very immersive and balanced sound. Bravo Sonos!

These are incredible if you want Dolby Atmos for movies & music. Have them as surrounds paired with Arc & Sub. Replace a pair of Ones. They were good, but Atmos with the Era 300 surrounds are like night and day. Truly fills the room. Couldn't be happier with them. If you want to be immersed in Dolby Atmos sound, they are definitely worth it.

Absolutely amazing sound on their own, but when linked to Sonos Arc to give Dolby Atmos surround sound, then the result is 'mind-blowing' both on films and music streaming services. A truly remarkable set-up that deserves 15/10 Well done Sonos!
