Anti Theft Backpack Camera

This backpack is the best choice for a photographer who is traveling overseas and wants to keep the most valuable gear secure from theft yet accessible when needed.  It is sturdy and offers many ways to organize with suggestions and illustrations for those who need assistance in organization.

This is the best camera backpack, let alone just backpack ever

I use two of these to secure my pelican case for travel. I'm confident that these will deter theft when the case is out of sight and checked.

I use the BlackRapid Backpack Breathe Camera Strap with a Lowepro ProTactic Backpack. One side of the strap connects perfectly to the rings located on the front of the backpack's shoulder straps and the other side connects onto a loop on the bottom of the pack on the other side. The BlackRapid backpack strap allows me to have quick access to my camera. With the camera on the BlackRapid strap, I no longer need to bring my backpack to my side to remove and use my camera. I now use my backpack only to store and change lenses. My camera can now remain outside my backpack, located conveniently to my side at hip level. When I want to shoot, the camera slides smoothly up the camera strap to eye level. I like that the camera hangs upside-down when resting on the strap. It makes for an easy get to position when my camera is resting at my side. This strap is amazingly slick and fun to use. I have to admit that I find myself playing around with it, like I'm some sort of gunslinger, showing off how quick I can be on the draw. I appreciate the movable clips provided on the BlackRapid camera strap. The two clips are easily adjusted, allowing me to restrict the movement of the camera to stay in one place on the strap when I am planning not to shoot. All of the attachment parts seem well made and designed. I keep the bottom strap strapped to the bottom of my backpack and store the rest of the strap in a small pocket on my backpack when I am not using the strap. Then, all I have to do is remove the strap from the small backpack pocket and connect the free end to the opposite shoulder strap . . . and I'm ready to go! I wish the piece that that screws into the camera (Camera Socket Attachment) was designed so that the camera could sit flat when attached, and if the design of the socket attachment would permit a tripod or mono-pod to be screwed into it without having to unscrew it from the camera. I absolutely love the BlackRapid Backpack Breathe Camera Strap!

The CB Digital-S is a well designed and machined aluminum bracket with a strong, but easy to operate spring-loaded rotating arm allowing rapid switching from landscape to portrait orientation. The anti-rotate stop pins on the base-plate have a limited adjustment range so may not function properly on some smaller cameras, but if it fits your camera body, it will do the job. I use it to hold Lume Cube for front-fill lighting and have replaced the flash cold-shoe with a small 1/4-20 ball joint to allow quick positioning of the lamp. Works perfectly for thid application. I've use it with large DSLRs and lately with the Mirrorless EOS R and EOS RP which is as small a camera as will work with the anti-rotate pins

I have not had a good camera since the old days, so this lens seems to work great. I like the anti-vibration feature, it shoots clearly even when I can tell I am having trouble holding still.

This Kirk camera plate is a well made camera plate for an Arca Swiss type quick disconnect attachment. It fits the XT2 vertical grip bottom plate well and the coved lip acts as an anti-torque edge to prevent the plate from coming loose while the camera is moved when attached to the tripod or monopod. Never purchase a camera plate that does not have a anti-torque edge. Rubber pads alone on the mounting surface do not secure the plate to the tripod base when torque is applied such as when using a telephoto lens.

Glove like fit on the D 850 with an anti-twist node that sits in a dedicated hole on the camera. I lost the attachment screw from carelessly leaving it too lose on removal though.
