I had z790, but no go because being damage before I got them, so I try z690 and as far I concern its the best motherboard out there. No buy memory that does not work z790 motherboards and being that I spend a lot of money on those z790 motherboards. I thought I try one more on a ASUS and if it did not work, I would of another brand So this one works very good.

I bought these to go in a new Z790 mobo that uses DDR5 memory, replacing an older Z390 one. Started with default setting in BIOS and now working at the XMP setting. Runs at around 40C without additional cooling.

So far so good, upgrading from Z790 Hero. I wanted the Gen5 M.2 and like the updated RGB and the memory support for 8000Mt/s ... currently running Skill at 8000 with 14900K

I bought these to upgrade my iMac, which had 16g...so this upgrade takes my Mac to 48 gb.... it does make the Mac start up faster and no more out of memory issues or slowing down, when using multiple applications or memory intensive apps. Quick and simple install...it took about 5-7 minutes to do the install. I removed the old memory and placed the new memory in those slots... then placed the old memory into the other two slots. You can find videos online to show you how to change or add memory.

I still have to master it, but I think it will serve us very well. I'm working through the manual. I can get it online which is better for old eyes. We will be using it to record a harp and voice.

The drive is fast for a spinner. I appreciate the extra ports and slots for memory cards. Not silent, but not too loud either
