Apc Backup Pro 1500 Manual

My APC 1500 surge protector with battery backup went defective. Self check test showed battery failure. Rather than replacing the entire expensive backup, I merely ordered this #124 replacement battery and replaced the original one for allot less cost. It now works good as new. Simply, side the old battery out and slide in the new one and that's it. I did not know replacement APC batteries were available until re-reading the APC instructions and by APC web site research.

I use a total of four APC ups units. Three are small and one is a 1500. I usually buy new (trade-in) for the small 350 units, but it is far more cost effective to replace the battery in the 1500. The recycle option is appreciated and works. Unlike the other reviews I just read, I am completely satisfied with the last two replacement batteries. This most recent one arrived 100% charged and installed providing full capability and showing twenty minutes battery time remaining. Since I have a full backup generator in the event of power failure, I need only 30-40 seconds power backup from the ups, but the battery and surge protection provided has saved me more times than I can count. I live in NW Florida, one of the lightening centers of the country.

This is the third consecutive APC Power Back-up 1500 I have purchased and have been pleased with them all. The current Backup-UPS Pro 1500, with its digital display makes it easy to monitor voltage and usage. Installation was a snap.

The first day using the APC Pro 1500 UPC has shown how dirty the power in my area really is coming in from the electric company. The fans on my Drobo run less frequent then in the past and the clarity on the monitor is 10x better. I would recommend the APC Pro 1500 to all my friends without hesitation.

I replaced our two 5-year-old BR-1500 APC back-ups with two new APC Pro 1500's. I have had them in service for about 3 weeks now. They are far more advanced than the older ones. The LCD screen is very useful and I like the improved form factor. So far they are great!

We purchased a new BR1500G APC Power Saving Back-UPS Pro 1500 in replacement of a past APC Back-UPS that had been purchased in 2003. We were able to use the Trade-UPS program which gave us a discount on our new BR1500G APC Power Saving Back-UPS Pro 1500 by purchasing directly from APC. We ran a price check on several internet price comparison sites and found the Trade-UPS price was the best. Importantly, it also gave us the ability of sending the old model and battery back to APC (on their dime as they paid for the return postage). This is a fantastic "green" alternative so that we were removed from battery disposal issues! We had our new BR1500G APC Power Saving Back-UPS Pro 1500 in two business days and have been happy with it since the arrival. This is the fourth APC unit purchased in over 20 years. APC Power Saving Back-UPS Pro 1500 is a great power backup. Had no problems what so ever. I really like the way it shuts of everything (if plugged into the right place) when you just shut off your computer and the all you have to do is turn your computer back on and everything comes back on also. Nice idea! I have two Backups and they both work excellent.

The APC Pro 1500 is well built, functioning very well, and I really like the new batteries connector inside. No more cables / wires to connect. Just pull out the batteries, turn them upside down. Instert them back and walla!....Thanks B&H

Works with my APC Backup..

I got this APC Back-UPS Pro 1500VA/900W Tower to protect and provide battery backup for all of my office devices during thunderstorms and power outages and it works great! With 10x NEMA 5-15R outlets and USB Type A + C ports I'm able to plug all my devices in including 2 monitors, 2 laptops, 2 bluetooth headsets, wireless keyboard, cable modem, wifi router, and charging cords for cellphones, tablets, etc. And the other day when I did experience a power outage it did keep all the devices in my office up and running until power came back within a few hours. The LCD display also provided the handy battery backup level status I needed and I found it also had a "mute" button to disable the beeping that most units like these send out during outages that was very handy during my last power outage. With this Back-UPS Pro i'll never have to worry about power outages or unsafe voltage levels effecting any of my powered devices in my office ever again! Thank-you APC! 5 Stars!!
