Apc Backup Ups 550

Installed this as a replacement battery to the APC Back - UPS 550 or 650 unit. Works great!

I got this APC Back-UPS Pro 1500VA/900W Tower to protect and provide battery backup for all of my office devices during thunderstorms and power outages and it works great! With 10x NEMA 5-15R outlets and USB Type A + C ports I'm able to plug all my devices in including 2 monitors, 2 laptops, 2 bluetooth headsets, wireless keyboard, cable modem, wifi router, and charging cords for cellphones, tablets, etc. And the other day when I did experience a power outage it did keep all the devices in my office up and running until power came back within a few hours. The LCD display also provided the handy battery backup level status I needed and I found it also had a "mute" button to disable the beeping that most units like these send out during outages that was very handy during my last power outage. With this Back-UPS Pro i'll never have to worry about power outages or unsafe voltage levels effecting any of my powered devices in my office ever again! Thank-you APC! 5 Stars!!

I have two APC UPS that I use to back up my modem, router and NAS during power outages. My original APC UPS was bought in 2018. This last power outage I noticed the minutes of backup declined rapidly on the older UPS compared to a newer UPS. APC states a two to three year life for backup batteries so I guess six years was time to look for a replacement. This APC replacement was very easy to install and fit perfectly. At half the cost of a new UPS it was an easy decision. My available backup minutes should now be like new

I use a total of four APC ups units. Three are small and one is a 1500. I usually buy new (trade-in) for the small 350 units, but it is far more cost effective to replace the battery in the 1500. The recycle option is appreciated and works. Unlike the other reviews I just read, I am completely satisfied with the last two replacement batteries. This most recent one arrived 100% charged and installed providing full capability and showing twenty minutes battery time remaining. Since I have a full backup generator in the event of power failure, I need only 30-40 seconds power backup from the ups, but the battery and surge protection provided has saved me more times than I can count. I live in NW Florida, one of the lightening centers of the country.

I purchased a replacement battery for my APC UPS-Backup unit for my tower computer through Schneider Electric. It was so easy to replace. The battery was received in the mail within three days. I had a couple of questions that were answered by their technical staff. I am very satisfied with my new battery.

APC UPS Network Management Card was the best part of adding it to my APC battery backup! It was easy to sign in to the mobile app or online to view the status of my UPS. Easy to install and it makes my job way much easier!

My APC Back-UPS is at least 3 years old. The backup time had declined to about 20 minutes according to the Powerchute program. So, I ordered a new battery from B&H. It arrived on schedule and went in without a hitch. New batteries need about 24 hours to fully charge. One day after installing it the battery backup time shows 117 minutes. Fabulous! BTW: This is an APC battery, not a knockoff. I would have bought one from APC but they were out of stock at the time. B&H was listed as an authorized reseller.

This is the third consecutive APC Power Back-up 1500 I have purchased and have been pleased with them all. The current Backup-UPS Pro 1500, with its digital display makes it easy to monitor voltage and usage. Installation was a snap.

These are the correct replacement batteries for certain APC Battery Backup (UPS) units. When they arrived, installation instructions were included. If you follow the instructions, replacement is easy and fast. Replacing the batteries after three to five years makes the backup unit work better and last longer. And it is definitely worth the price to replace the batteries, not the whole unit.
