Apc Performance Surgearrest 12

I use the SurgeArrest Performance by APC to protect my PC and Canon Pro 100 printer. I can't afford to lose the use of my machine during critical times and this is great insurance. The 11 outlets are also a perk.

Yet another well designed SurgeArrest device from APC. Six AC outlets are often needed for kitchen outlet receptacles, but are ofter not available. This solves that issue. Offers two USB charging outputs as well, 2.4A total capacity, it appears. Nice!

I bought several of these APC P7GB SurgeArrest Essential 120V 7-Outlet Surge Protector (4', White) on special because I shoot in open buildings that may not have the best electrical service. I value my equipment and wanted the extra added security of the features this product offers. The energy saving feature is attractive too. I will buy more for home use.

These products have small computers as most home appliances do these days. Our power provider - Rocky Mountain Power - has frequent outages and voltage deviations. I have experienced no issues with the APC Home Office SurgeArrest.

I purchased and installed the APC SurgeArrest for my Mom when she recently got her first HD TV. She had a cheap-o power strip on her 9-year-old CRT TV set and I suspect she had a power surge that fried the picture tube on it. I'm in video production and I use APC products exclusively for backing up all my computers, hard drives, audio gear and monitors. I wouldn't consider using anything else. Best made product with a stellar reputation for equipment that works.

After better than 12 years it became apparent that my old APC Back-UPS unit needed replacement due to the display failure. I selected the Back-UPS Pro BR 1000VA. Ordering and delivery from B&H was easy, fast and without issue. The manufacturers packing was more than adequate to ensure safe delivery. After opening and a brief familiarization with the unit and User Manual, my computer system components were connected and powered up. Note: Since I am using the Mac Operating System, neither the supplied USB communication cable was connected nor the PowerChute Software for Windows OS installed. Operation so far has been fully as expected with no issues! I am happy!
