Apc Ups Battery Light Flashing Green

My APC UPS sounded off every few hours with beeps and a flashing red light to let me know it was time to replace the battery. I ordered online and the battery arrived sooner than expected. I installed it and it's been working fine since. The part I especially like, I didn't have to shut everything off to install.

This is the second time that I have replaced the battery for my UPS. I am very satisfied with APC.

My UPS APC Back-Ups (I have five) have been protecting my computer for more than fifteen years now. Even though there are newer models, I don't need any better than I have. I am very pleased to know that APC provides support and batteries even for what I assume are "legacy" UPS. The ease of finding the correct battery and sending the expired battery back to APC had always been a real plus for me as I am disabled and don't drive. In an era when "just buy a new one" seems to be the usual corporate approach, I appreciate APC.

Very good device but hardly fast speed and external light keep flashing green. But over all everything seem fine

Exact Replacement and Fit for my APC SMX3000LV. It's heavy and stout. My UPS was able to hot-swap this battery with no issue. Disconnect the old battery and slide it out. Slide the new battery in and connect it. The UPS LED screen will recognize it as a new battery, just choose the affirmative. Once installed, don't forget to run the Battery Test on the UPS front panel so it will extinguish the red Bad Battery Icon Light.

Replaced the old battery on an APC UPS. It took only a few minutes. Easy! Took the old battery to a recycling location.

I was very pleasantly surprised that my replacement battery was delivered to my door by courrier within 48 hr of my on-line order, which was placed on a weekend. This was the first time that I had ever tried replacing a battery instead to just buying a new UPS unit. None of the retailers selling APC products carry replacement batteries, and since I live in Canada, I expected that the cost of bringing in a replacement battery would exceed the cost of a new unit.. and be bogged down with customs duties.. etc. Battery was actually shipped from a nearby Canadian distributor. It is certainly more environmentally-friendly to replace a battery rather that throwing out a perfectly good UPS system. APC should do more to inform Canadian customers how easy it is (& cost -effective) to replace batteries. Perhaps include battery replacement information in packaging for new units.

APC UPS Battery Backups are the best out there. They are high quality and have never failed when it counts.

This is the exact replacement for the original APC UPS battery. I have tried non original batteries in the past with mixed results.
