Apc Ups For Desktop Computer 850 Watt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The APC Back-Ups 850 is very reliable and easy to install. Connected the battery, plugged all my devices in and all protected. I unplugged the APC and their was not even a glitch of failed response from the devices. Never missed a second of power to the computer or monitors. APC has created a very effective personal Back-Ups device that can be moved easily and quickly to other location and provides more than enough run time to ensure devices can be turned off. Very satisfied with this new APC.

My UPS APC Back-Ups (I have five) have been protecting my computer for more than fifteen years now. Even though there are newer models, I don't need any better than I have. I am very pleased to know that APC provides support and batteries even for what I assume are "legacy" UPS. The ease of finding the correct battery and sending the expired battery back to APC had always been a real plus for me as I am disabled and don't drive. In an era when "just buy a new one" seems to be the usual corporate approach, I appreciate APC.

Definitely look at this product if you are looking for a good UPS for your desktop system, especially a Macintosh. I looked at APC units and this one meets or exceeds their specs. Also, you get an actual display of its performance! The included monitoring software leaves a little to be desired, but it does work on macOS, something APC refuses to do! For the money, you can't do better!

APC has been the leader in UPS power. The BR 1000VA is very well designed and extremely easy to setup. Knowing which outlets are surge protected and battery back-up up is easy, one side is battery, the other is surge only. Although it is a medium size UPS, it has 10 Outlets which 6 are battery back-up. This is very efficient for todays desktop and laptop users. I use it to power my home model/router and printer along with all the necessary accessories attached to my desktop. Highly recommend this product to anyone looking to protect their computers and home electronic devices. Lightweight and easy to storage. Detailed direction included on how to use the product. Very satisfied!

Been using APC UPS products on desktop applications for a long time. Needed a solution for an entertainment center and this item had the right features. Plenty of electrical and data outlets. The swivel cord is a great feature, greatly reduces strain on the cord.

I replaced the two 2TB drives in my desktop computer with two 1TB 850 PRO drives and I can't believe the vast improvement in the performance in my PC. Boot time went from about 2 minutes to completely load Windows 7 (64 bit) and all the start-up stuff to less than 30 seconds. While these drives are not the cheapest ones out there, the specs and warranty are worth it. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to catch lightning in a bottle.

Use this for my laptop and other computer equipment - it is a replacement for a 5 year old APC UPS that died. This was easy to set up - just make sure you follow instructions and let it charge for 8 hours first. Has some options that I may/may not use, but good to know they are there. Works great and would recommend to anyone looking for a UPS.

I purchased a replacement battery for my APC UPS-Backup unit for my tower computer through Schneider Electric. It was so easy to replace. The battery was received in the mail within three days. I had a couple of questions that were answered by their technical staff. I am very satisfied with my new battery.
