Apex Gaming Headset

I've switched to this after 1.5 years with AW3423DW, because Apex and Rocket League have been the majority of my gaming hours. The productivity loss wasn't that bad, and the stand shape leaves room for another monitor if needed. The visuals seem on par with the Dell, but the smoothness is a noticeable upgrade. It is especially clear in Rocket League with its rough transitions when playing the ball cam (like you normally should). 540 Hz monitors with strobing have even better motion clarity but I won't put up with ghosting nor the hit to image quality. The timing around Apex's vulnerability deprived me of the most relevant comparison, but even a similar frame rate looks better in The Division 2. Unlike Rocket League, this must come down to a massive improvement in total latency from superior processing time. AW34D3W was unusually bad for OLEDs, while this MSI tops the charts. The monitor supports 4K input for downsampling the image from modern consoles and media players. The flipside is that PC games detected the monitor as 4K when using exclusive fullscreen, but the borderless option is taking over anyway (DX12 doesn't even have exclusive fullscreen). The connectivity is an upgrade as well: 2 genuine HDMI 2.1 and a 90W PD USB-C are amazing to have. There are also the usual 2 USB-A ports and a backup DP 1.4, too. Software-wise, this is completely fine out of the box unlike certain Samsungs and Dells were. A DSC toggle and separate color profiles for SDR & HDR should come with a future firmware, and the only other quirk is monitor turning off rather than going back to standby after a pixel refresh on idle. For pure gaming performance, this is the best OLED at the joint lowest price for this panel. I haven't been able to identify a caveat here. It is a great time to be an OLED aficionado.

Great motherboard and WIFI extender that goes with motherboard. The WIFI extender has really helped me with my WIFI and has significantly improved my gaming when it comes to really competitive games like apex or call of duty

Physical 'display' type box is attractive and informative as to the many features the product provides... Upon unboxing I found a very high quality headset with MANY cords for different applications and uses but VERY clear and precise instructions of what all of the accessories represented as well as clear connection information. Very simple for tweens all the way up to adults to understand.. Upon connecting the unit and powering up there are many variables that can be adjusted including lighting and sound parameters. The headset has top band setup with heavily padded ear cups which are very comfortable and adjustable for many head sizes. Headset was very comfortable even with hours of wearing and gaming. Once setup the best feature comes to life.. the absolute dynamic highs, lows, and bass of the noise canceling sound experience. I have yet to own a headset that provided such dynamic directional type audio that this headset promotes but it is nothing short of astounding. Game play is 10X sweeter with just the experience that the sound quality brings to the table. The lighting of the LED's is also a rather cool and radical feature not found on many other headsets.. Certainly intensifies the gaming experience as well. All in all VERY pleased as I am with every other JBL product I have had the pleasure of using and owning. The price may be higher than a lot of other headsets but YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! No corners cut in design and making this a must have pinnacle gaming accessory!! Once you have tried this unit there are no others that come close in comparison.

The microphone quality has been clear based on feedback from other games when I talk with them. The sound quality from gaming is crystal clear. I also love that this headset is unviersal and can be used for working from home in addition to gaming. Great product all around and would absolutely recommend for every day use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is THE BEST gaming headset I've experienced. I have a large home theater audio system, and I prefer these, hands down! The fit, the sound quality, the options, the looks, its all amazing. These may look large, but they do not feel it. The muffs are soft, the band is light and the LEDs are awesome! You don't need them on, but they are fun. The best part of these is all of the options. You can use it with any system, or anything Bluetooth enbaled. I personally use them on my XBOX which doesn't do wireless, but works great with the wire, which has a volume control right on it! I have zero negative things to report on these, if you want them, buy them!

I was playing sports video games like FIFA and it felt like I was really in the stadium. Other video games were equally as great. You could hear the faintest of sounds and this made the louder sounds even more intense. The sound quality is great and the microphone is equally as great. Anybody I played with online had an easy time hearing me. The gaming headset is super easy to setup and use as well. The wire-free set up is great and allows you to walk around without having to take off your headset or bring your controller. The battery life is also long and something I appreciate. The headset is very easy to use and has convenient volume controls right on the headset. Perhaps an underrated feature of this headset, is the ability to have great sound without disturbing anybody. You can play video games without annoying anyone else in the room. Also, I used these headphones to watch TV/movies on my gaming console without waking up anyone in my house like I used to when using my TV speakers. Lastly, these are very comfortable! I wore them for hours and never once experienced discomfort. I usually do not like over the ear headphones so the fact I never had any problems and actually enjoyed wearing these shows how comfortable they are! I could not recommend this product enough!
