Apollo Space Suit Portable Air Conditioner

This speakerphone is very clear on both ends. Was able to hear the other person speaking clearly even when my portable air conditioner was running in the room.

We have it for everything, Air-Conditioner panel control, Land line phone, Toys Etc',

As always B&H was very quick to send the package out and it was what we ordered no problem. Our only problem is that the air conditioner is apparently too loud for even this windscreen to totally block the noise. It does a much better job but the mic is apparently extremely sensitive to all sound.

I got this because during the hot months I can't run my air conditioner and computer at the same time due to neighborhood brownouts. If I turn the air conditioner off the computer overheats. This covers the outtages so I can work in comfort without unexpectedly rebooting every few minutes. Thanks!

Electrical power spikes occur for many reasons and your sensitive electronics won't survive unless you have a quality surge suppressor. Most products sold as surge supressors only provide a low level of protection and are little more than power bars. The Isobar offers a high level of protection and, unlike most other surge suppressors, will isolate each outlet from surges caused by other appliances plugged into it. Case in point, I needed to use an air conditioner on the same outlet as a computer. The Isobar effectively protects the computer from power surges as the air conditioner cycles on and off.

I ordered my DELTA Max as part of a bundle with the Wave air conditioner. I also purchased a 160 watt solar panel. I live in the south and am planning to use the Wave while camping to cool my tent in the evening. The solar panel will help recharge the Max during the day. I have not yet received the Wave, but I did get the Max and solar panel. I tested the solar panel and Max out today and everything worked as expected. So far, I am very pleased.

I recently purchased a new NEST thermostat to replace a thermostat custom for my furnace & air conditioner. The wiring was odd and so I called in a Reliance installer, who inspected, then easily installed the NEST. This unit functions flawlessly and it was a conch connecting it to my home wifi and adding it to my NEST account online. The product is unobtrusive and fits beautifully with our decor.

I have 3 of these units and an Air 1 Commander. I use them with my Sony a6000 and Wescott Apollo light modifiers. Easy to set up and easy to configure the 3 flashes into 1, 2 or 3 groups,depending on the light setup I want. Someone more limited that the Canon EX600s I use with my 5DM3 (3 groups instead of 5, full stop power increments instead of ) but still very versatile and useful at a fraction of the price.

This thing is a beast. It's not so much a surge protector as it is a smallish power conditioner. It's hard to tell if you've never seen one, but it is about 3' long. If space is a premium and you don't need clean power, this may not be the droid you're looking for. If you can spare it, and aren't frightened by the price tag (which is entirely reasonable for what you're getting), then I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

I'm learning how to use portable and studio lighting, and this is my second Westcott speed light modifier, after the Apollo Orb 43 I purchased previously. First of all, I'm surprised the Rapid Box is somehow more expensive than the Apollo Orb. Not significantly so, but enough to wonder how something that is obviously larger and uses more material - and, if you buy the kit, comes with a light stand - could possibly cost less to manufacture and deliver. It's not off-putting or something that detracts from the value of the Rapid Box. It's just something I wonder about. With that one negative point out of the way, I have to say how much I like this product. It's reasonably sturdy when fully deployed, and I appreciate how the diffusion panel is more of a slip-on sock, unlike the velcro attached diffuser of the Apollo Orb. I also love the bracket for the flash - also very sturdy and easily adjustable for different strobe lights. It's also reasonably small and light. I had no problem putting this on an arm above someone's head, using it as a beauty dish with the optional reflector disc (sold separately), and it fits into my bag alongside the umbrellas and collapsible reflectors I use. While I don't expect I'll get much use out of the nylon bag it comes with, it could be used as extra protection when you need it and could probably store a portable light stand with ease. Probably the most important aspect is the quality of the light it produces. I'm very happy with the results using this as a diffused light source or as a beauty dish (again, with the optional reflector). If you primarily use shoe-mounted flashes, this is certainly worth having in your bag of tricks.
