App That Comes With Mini Microphone

So, I purchased the Shure MV7 Podcast Microphone Kit with Blue Compass Premium Tube-Style Boom Arm (Black) and I must say I don't have any regrets. Off the top, there is one thing that I wish were different, but nonetheless, these products are pretty amazing.  Firstly, the Shure MV7 Podcast Microphone is remarkably impressive in the construction, sound quality, and remarkable depth of controls that you have via the Shure Desktop Motiv app or the on-mic controls. This brings me to the thing that wished were different. The connectivity of the app. Shure does provide access to both a desktop and a smartphone app (that you will have to download) but the microphone can only be connected to the devices using wires. It would be more convenient if they were able to connect wirelessly (via WiFi or/and Bluetooth). Once connected to your device the mic can be used or it can also be used by connecting to an audio device using an XLR cord. (regular microphone cable). The Shure MV7 Podcast Microphone is an incredible option for content creators without the needed accessories like cloud lifter and the likes, which other microphones in that category demands. This saves you money, time (as it is faster and easier to set up), and it is more compact and less of a distraction while in use. Lastly, the Blue Compass Premium Tube-Style Boom Arm is smooth, modern, and extremely pleasant to look upon. The Boom Arm is impressively designed and helps tremendously with cable management. The cable fits snuggly in the arm. The boom arm is not bulky and is built very sturdily. Once, the microphone is mounted, it is very easy to adjust the boom arm for perfect positioning. I LOVE THIS!!!

This is a great microphone. It does not require an audio interface. Simply plug it to your computer through USB and there you go! It also has an option for monitoring with zero latency. The default microphone sound level is too quite for my listeners. So, I use peace + equalizer combo software to adjust its dB output level (+18dB). I compared to my Rode Mini USB condenser microphone. Q2U had a more natural sounding and rich audio. Rode mini USB sounded little dull (or muffled). However, Q2U has much more ambient noise which requires more editing time at post production. As a teacher, I do not have extra time for that. So, I prefer Rode mini USB for my lecture recordings and I may use Q2U for broadcasting where recording is not a priority. Finally, this info can be useful to some: Q2U doesn't work with Notability on iPad Pro (3rd Gen), Rode Mini USB does.

Comes with Great app for an affordable price point. Will definitely improve your camera game!

This case is a must have to protect your Sennheiser MKH416. Comes with a slot for the microphone as well as a slot for the larger mic clip and windscreen. Excellent shock absorption to handle any bumps or drops.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent all in one beginner vlogger kit. Everything is very adjustable. The stand, the light, the microphone are all adjustable/moveable. Comes in a nice zippered case for easy storage. When you first turn the light on it tells you the brightness level from 1-100, then it changes to battery percentage. The light is charged through usb c. Comes with all wires needed to hook up and charge. The main attraction here, in my opinion, is the microphone. You can really tell a difference in video sound/quality using just my galaxy S9 vs the microphone. Sound is much so better. Great kit.

With the addition of the Snowball, I am now able to podcast, something I should have been doing all along. It's clear. It's crisp. A microphone controller's dream. Comes highly recommended. Love it. Very easy to use with my recording software.

Comes with everything you need in a shotgun mic. Wasn't sure if it would attach to my 1.8mm mini jack on my canon t3i, but it came with the adapter cable. Some of the components are fairly cheaply made (wind muff, case), but the price is awesome for the fact that everything is there. Plenty of foam inside the case to keep it all safe, even a little slot for a spare AA battery. I'll be able to easily wire this on to my DSLR or boom pole with little effort.

Works with my iPad mini gen 6, with an amazon USB A to C adapter. Comes with a nice cable with a choke in it, bet one must use that one. Not hi-fi but no distortion. for travel, I'll take it!

I bought these to shoot video for my company, works great on my Canon r5. Comes with mini and standard RCA adapters. Sound quality and noise muffling are great, but you can still hear conversations.
