I tested it out for a few photos and it seems to work as expected. Before this I used the Sony app for taking photos, but I found it frustrating how the app would disable the touch screen, making it difficult to go back and forth. The remote controller is a much better solution for me. 5 |

A must-have to connect to your iPhone 7, 8, & X. In my case my 6-month old Apple Lightning to headphone adapter didn't work; once I replaced it with a new one this Rode cable worked properly. BONUS: Check out the Rode SC6 to add a headphone output to the input chain! 5 |

I currently have two other versions of this Lav. This is a unique addition to those. I will be using this on my iPhone since they did away with the headphone jack! Works great for memo recording and also live streaming. I will be using this for youtube uploads that require little to no editing so I can quickly plug in, record and upload with better audio. The cord is a good length and I am loving it so far. Whats also great is that this does not require a battery like my other wired units and there is a headphone jack if you need to monitor yourself!
