Apple 13.3 Macbook Pro Mid 2017 Space Gray

I had a mid-2017 MacBook Pro 13 that was still in great condition (and thank you B&H/Phobio for a great recycle price!) but was coming to the end of Apple Care. I wanted to keep the touch bar (unlike the prevailing consensus I love it) and do not need the additional ports that are reportedly coming in the new MBPs this year with the M1x/M2 chips. The new keyboard is great, very good travel, the Escape key is back, but it is totally true that the performance and battery life are INCREDIBLE. Apps, especially Apple Apps like Safari, Mail, Calendar, and Music open instantaneously (one bounce on the Dock or less). I have not done any heavy-lifting like video processing or photo editing yet but this is a great machine that I expect will last me another three years. I highly recommend getting 16GB of RAM as Big Sur wants to run in 8GB of space! 5 |

I bought 2 of these to go with 2 identical MacBook Pro 13.3 Mid-2020 notebooks. So far, so good. The hub works as advertised. It does get a little warm when plugged in and no load attached (USB devices, SD cards, etc.). You can daisy-chain this hub along with the MBP's charger to consolidate ports. If you do this or put a load on the hub (connect a USB device), it will get a little bit warmer than previously. I was not burning hot, like other reviewers have mentioned. I guess each person's opinion is different; it works for me and that's more important. I like the idea it gives you wired Ethernet along with HDMI, USB 3.1, Type-C and SDXC connections. It would probably cost twice as much if you were to achieve the equivalent adapter from Apple. 5 |

I have a macbook pro 13.3 inch and it could not fit any better with the stand. The stand helped me alleviate my backpains from crunching down to see the screen. Now that I have this stand, I can save space on my desk and put the keyboard underneath which was a big factor for me. Highly recommend this people who want to elevate for ergonomic reasons, cooling and space efficiency reasons. Two thumbs up! 5 |

I did a lot of internet research looking for a keyboard that would match my Space Gray Macbook and magic trackpad. With photos online, it can be a little hard to tell since the slightest angle of material can change how it reflects light. (Apple's own Space Gray material has changed color slightly over the years.) I'm happy to report that this keyboard's top bar is a dead-ringer for Apple's current generation of Space Gray metal. With backlighting and the control dial, I consider it a pretty solid upgrade compared to the Apple keyboard. It is worth noting that for those benefits you do lose a little battery life however. 5 |

It works just fine with the latest 2017 MacBook Pro and is less expensive than the comparable Apple adapter. 5 |

Haven't had a mac mini for a few years, been relying on a macbook pro. New Space Gray looks great, very slick next to my 32 5K monitor, which it drives beautifully. Upgraded to 64Gb after purchase, very happy. 5 |
