Apple 13.3 Macbook Pro Ports

Currently using this for my 13.3 macbook pro and it's perfect.

Apple now does not offer many options for Ports ( on new MacBook Pro)... only USB-C on its new Lap tops ....so if you have a new MacBook Pro you will need this . Other laptops and of course iMacs have USB-A ports .. so I have a new 16'' MacBook Pro and need to have access to ports other than only USB-C. Also there is no card slot ... beware.Get one if necessary. I also got a SuperDrive ... no longer an option on new Macs.

The new 2020 Apple 13.3” MacBook Air with Retina display is the best thing to come from Apple in a long time. Slightly smaller and lighter than previous MacBook Airs, this one packs a lot value. It is a faster and smoother operating laptop than my previous 2012 version. The TruTone display provides excellent and realistic pictures from my photographs or the web. I was worried about there being only the 2 USB - C version 3 ports but that hasn’t been a problem. Ordering it from B&H was the best option I could have made. The best value compared to any other vendor, and the support staff was exceptional in making smooth and fast. Their shipping was great and they kept me updated with the movement of the package throughout its shipment. Arrived exactly when they said it would. I recommend the 2020 MacBook Air for anyone looking to upgrade from older versions. In addition, this model could be the last one to come out with an Intel chip, making this model a likely collector’s item. Check out pricing on B&H after you’ve checked the other vendors and odds are you’ll see they have the best value.

It fixes what is missing in Apple's new Macbook Pro (no ports except USB-C). Good part is that it can stay with MacBook and don't need to plug out like cables adapters.

Perfect for Macbook Pro, since apple removed all connectivity from their laptops except for the type C ports. Very fast download speeds.

Bought a MacBook Pro with USB-C ports and no vieeo output. Bought with it the Apple USB-C to HDMI adapter to drive my 4K TV that I use as a montor. The Apple product was total garbage with intermittent operation, tearing of the image, and useless to do work on. Since then I tried multiple other USB-C to HDMI adapters to run the TV in 4K resolution with similar results (although the worst what the one I bought at the Apple store.) This adapter works perfectly. Rock solid image at full 4K resolution. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants a 4K monitor for a very low price to work with their MacBook Pro that has the USB-C ports only. (The 4K TV is 55 inch which I bought for about $350 at Walmart on sale.)

I purchased this to make an external boot drive for my 2015 MacBook Pro. This device is probably the fastest way to add external storage to my machine since the Thunderbolt 2 ports are far faster than the USB3 ports. Since this Sabrent Thunderbolt 3 enclosure is self-powered, you can use the Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter in reverse, making full use of the MacBook's Thunderbolt 2 port and getting super fast transfer speeds, making it suitable for use as a boot drive. I don't have any benchmark utilities, but I copied a large VMware image from the internal Apple SSD to an external 2TB FireCuda 530 and saw an Activity Monitor peak write speed of 1.6GB/sec, which is super fast. The case gets a little warm, but that means that it is effectively sinking heat from the M2 drive. I used this to successfully build and test a system upgrade to Mojave, and will continue to use this to occasionally run modern OS versions that I don't want to permanently upgrade to due to software compatibility issues with old apps I still need to run. Right now, it's Velcro'ed to the laptop lid and holds a 1TB drive waiting to test Catalina, so I can see which apps break before deciding if I want to take the plunge. All in all, it's perfect as an external drive for my older MacBook Pro, it's well priced, and extremely well constructed. I'll continue to use it for the rest of the life of this machine, and it'll still be useful if I upgrade to a more modern machine later.

I have a macbook pro 13.3 inch and it could not fit any better with the stand. The stand helped me alleviate my backpains from crunching down to see the screen. Now that I have this stand, I can save space on my desk and put the keyboard underneath which was a big factor for me. Highly recommend this people who want to elevate for ergonomic reasons, cooling and space efficiency reasons. Two thumbs up!
