Apple 27 Imac Desktop Computer Late 2012

Bright and crisp. Clear improvement over my 27 late-2012 iMac display.

My last iMac was a 27 late 2012 model with a rotating hard disk. When I bought an external SSD and re-installed all my software it ran at a tolerable speed (unlike the hard drive!). I don't know what Apple did to make the internal SSD on my new iMac run so fast, but boy is it fast! In addition the 5K screen on the new iMac is a big improvement on the old one. And again, where else would I go to buy this than B&H? So great to deal with!!!

This case worked beautifully for me as I travelled with my 27 iMac desktop computer. The computer arrived safely, much to my relief and gratitude. This will now be my standard choice for transporting fragile electronics.

A total step up from my 2020 iMac 27 inch desktop computer. The M2 Pro Mini is easy to set up and compact enough to fit on my desk. It's sleek in design and very fast!

I love Apple...everything is so easy when setting up the tablet. I have an iMac desktop computer but rarely need to use it because my tablet does just about everything I need to do on line. Bought the 6-core Mac Pro for heavy video editing. Already owned a 2012 MBP 13 RETINA, 2011 Mini, 2012 iMac 27, and 2009 Mac Pro. Using the 2009 Mac Pro for capture, and editing on the iMac. The workflow involved with capturing in ProRes 422, then editing, rendering, and compressing was just taking too much time. Not anymore. Like the title says, this beast is everything they promised. Internal read/writes are @ 900MB/s, there are tons of TBv2 ports, enough USB3, and it's sleek & beautiful. Using dual 27 HDMI monitors, watching Netflix, editing video in FCX, importing video from my portable external storage (using a TB to eSATA adapter)...all at the same time...and doing whatever else I feel like, has proven to be, well, not even a strain. I would suggest the 6-core or better for rendering segmented MOV's, since core quantity will still be important in that scenario. Having 6-cores at over 3.5GHz is just honking awesome. Although a second HDMI would've been cool, I find the TB to HDMI dongle to be quite acceptable. It it expensive? Yes, and that is a drawback, but it is a class apart, and actually made in the USA. I don't actually have enough/proper words to describe the coolness of this tech. If you're on the fence...don't be.

I upgraded from 2012 iMac 27. such a big difference in all aspect of use. Great deal through B&H/AI. Very happy.

I have a 2012 iMac 27 and was looking for an interface so I could start producing music. This was perfect for me. Setup was a snap, it just worked. The direct monitor button is really nice when I need it. Separate main volume and headphone volume knobs are also really nice. Overall very happy with this!!

My 2012 IMac crashed and I bit the bullet to replace its 27"display. I used it daily editing photos. Oh my! I can't believe the difference. Sharp, bright and in a wide format that makes a better working space. With the PayBoo card I can either save the tax or stretch out payments interest free. Do it!
