Apple Beatsx Earphones Weaknesses

Exactly as Advertised. Work as well as Apple earbuds. If you are Sony, you really can't mess up earphones. 5 |

These are my first wireless earphones and man am i glad i got them. With the Apple W1 chip pairing with my iPhone is seamless. Also since im not an audiophile, the sound quality i would say is just right for the casual listener. 5 |

After much research I purchased the BeatsX headphones from many similar products. I like its W1 Bluetooth chip which enables the headphones to stay connected to my iPhone phone through walls. Nice. The BeatsX will also allow fast charging and a long battery life of up to 8 hours. I really like all these convenient features and to my ears they sound great. 5 |

BeatsX Bluetooth headphones are excellent for hand free use of my iPhone. That way I can answer and talk on the phone while driving or doing other things without touching the phone. I have got addicted to use them as a working tool all day long but they are also perfect at the gym, or whenever I want to listen to music since the sound is great. 5 |

I've become more serious about my photography lately. My two typical weaknesses have been focus and my ability to meter shots confidently while using the internal light meter and bracketing. Auto focusing has been a savior for me. But getting the results I've wanted with exposure and outcome has been tougher. The Sekonic meter is small and accurate. I start my shoots by checking the ambient light with the meter to see what recommended exposures are possible @ any combination of settings. This allows me more options and more confidence in finding solutions for my desired outcomes. 5 |

The autofocus is fast and silent, the color and contrast are fantastic, it’s super sharp, and it feels really good balanced on a Z7ii. From the very first shots you will be able to tell this is an extremely high quality lens. It shines through in the files even before any edits are applied. The files just look better, no pixel peeping required. The OLED display feels unnecessary beyond noticing it’s there occasionally and thinking “oh that’s neat.” It’s also not a reason for or against purchasing this lens, to my mind. It would be like saying you don’t want a car because you don’t like the interior of its glovebox. I was worried that the programmable ring would accidentally turn with normal use, but that hasn’t been an issue for me. I have big hands, so I don’t think it’s because I’m especially nimble. The sharpness through the aperture range and focal range is, in practical terms, extremely freeing. I chose this over the f/4 kit, and I have no regrets from paying a premium for the extra stop. Being able to shoot wide open and with this level of sharpness is amazing. It feels like I don’t have to compromise or skew my choices toward the strengths of the lens and away from its weaknesses, because there are no weaknesses. 5 |

This lens shows no weaknesses on my D300. Great flare-resistance and sharp across the entire frame. AF-S allows you to snap into focus quickly. Some say this lens isn't wide enough on a cropped dSLR but it wasn't too long ago that an equivalent range of 36-105mm on a full frame dSLR or 35mm film was considered ideal for street photography. For a balanced set of lenses you will likely need to combine it with a Nikon 12-24 or Nikon 14-24mm for landscapes. However, like me you might find the 24-70mm is mounted to your SLR most of the time. 5 |

I owned version 1. I used it a lot and liked it a lot. But it does have weaknesses, notably it sometimes struggles to accurately focus on small objects. I didn't plan to upgrade until Canon sent me a discount. I have used version II for 3 months and have to say it's better than expected. Every image is extremely sharp. Color and contrast look improved too. I know lab tests show little or no improved sharpness but in real life, it is noticeable. Perhaps the improved autofocus and IS are the big factors in real world shooting. I shoot mostly outdoors--landscapes, wildlife and some portraits with both a 77D and 5D IV. I have also used it indoors for some portraits in low light where the IS has produced sharp images handheld and slow shutter speeds. If you're on the fence about upgrading---go for it! 5 |

One of the weaknesses of the Pentax range seems to be the lack of a long macro, 180mm (Sigma) seems to be easy to get for most other major mounts, but 105mm (Sigma) seems to be the longest I can find new. While this little chap doesn't quite bridge the gap, when paired with something like the 100mm macro from Pentax it gives a 140mm f4 option which is a step in the right direction. I was hesitant to add extra glass to my setup as in the past the image size didn't make up for the quality loss, but other reviews were so positive I decided to get the Rear Converter. It's not cheap, it slows down focusing with the 100mm macro, the bokah is not as nice as without, but it still gives amazingly good images when you consider that it it magnifying the weaknesses of the lens it is used on as well as adding it's own. It also workes wonderfully in terms of passing through information and values etc. You do need to update your firmware and at the time of writing this it does give incorrect information when connected to a Sigma 150-500mm lens, but given that it is advertised as a Rear converter for Pentax lenses that it can be used with other lenses is a bonus. I plan on trying it out with the Tamron 70-200mm 2.8 to see if it will also give me an 100-280mm f4 that gives nice pictures, but can't comment on that yet. In Summary it is pricey, but well built, a high quality component and if it happens to fit a niche in your lens collection you can't other fill, I feel it is well worth the cost. Regards, Anon. 5 |

I got this to use on my Leica M240 and film Leica, and have had it in use for about a month. That is too little time to get to know the strengths and weaknesses of a lens, but enough time to know if there are any glaring faults. I am happy to report that I found nothing remiss: the lens is well behaved at all apertures, sharp, nice contrast, and not subject to flare. The construction is metal and very solid to touch. Feels like it should last a very long time. The focus ring is a little harder to grip than I am used to because of the large diameter front element; however as it has a massive depth of field at almost all apertures and any normal distance, critical focus is a non-issue. This lens does not seem out of place as the only Voigtlander in my bag along with the Leica and Zeiss lenses that use on the same cameras. It does allow a different perspective on a full frame camera, and I have some shots that I am well pleased with. I look forward to exploring what this lens can really do. 5 |
