Apple Bluetooth Keyboard Aa Battery

This keyboard has been aa good thing. I have spilled coffee on it and was thrilled to discover that, unlike an Apple keyboard, this one was not disabled by its contact with a liquid. I don't think they advertise the keyboard was waterproof, but in my experience, it has been. I don't mind using a wired keyboard. I think it's better than a wirelss one if you work at a desk. The benefits: 1) no batteries to run down and 2) two extra USB ports to make up for the one it used on the back of my Mini. One tiny beef: I have worn most of the paint off the A and S keys. I don't know why they are almost blank and the rest of the keys are unscathed. All in all, a good price for a multi-functional tool that withstands liquids applied directly to its top surface. 5 |

Authentic Apple short keyboard which we are using as a wired keyboard not the bluetooth option. It would be cool if it included the powered USB outlets the older wired keyboard had, but, this keyboard is perfect for my wife at her standing desk where she has less space for the full size keyboard with numberpad which she never uses. Fast service as always. 5 |

I can't believe it too me this long to realize I've been handicapped by the Apple bluetooth keyboard all these years. The Daskeyboard too about four minutes to get used to before I started writing with greater efficiency than I imagined possible. I'm impressed with the materials, the build and the promise, delivered. The cost is well worth it. 5 |

If you're debating this keyboard, I recommend it. Here are some minor benefits I've enjoyed: - Backlit keys when color grading in a dark room - Sturdy and doesn't slide on the desk - Bluetooth and wired work seamlessly The surprise benefit is that this keyboard works in Bluetooth mode to enter my password after a complete shutdown and power-up. None of the other non-Apple Bluetooth keyboards I own will do this. They work after a RESTART but not on POWER-UP. I was very impressed that they got this right. NOTE: The following was true when I wrote this review on September 5, 2024. This might sound very nitpicky, but the insert card that came with a keyboard directed me to the following website: Logickeyboard.com/shortcut There is no guide for FCPX. I emailed to inquire about this and was sent a link to the Apple website containing the 900+ page user manual. The shortcut guide is more of a nice to have, but I thought I would call it out anyway. 5 |

This product works great for it's intended purpose. By using a detached keyboard (I use Apple's bluetooth) it sits like a regular PC monitor. I would recommend it to anyone. 5 |

I would expect nothing less from Apple. The key stroke is solid and behaves just like my regular Apple keyboard. The bluetooth works perfectly. Love this key board. 5 |

Other than not having the touch ID function that Apple's Bluetooth keyboard offers, Satechi does an immaculate job. Even Apple's magic keyboard doesnt have backlit keys, like this one! It's recommend it in a heartbeat over the other one. Well built! 5 |

I've used this for just 2 weeks, but it's the perfect replacement for my Apple wireless keyboard. It's virtually identical except it lies flatter on my desk since it obviously doesn't have the battery compartment (they did include optional sticky rubber pads to tilt the keyboard forward). I replaced my old wireless keyboard since I bought the new 2020 M1 Mac Mini and immediately had the bluetooth issues others have complained about. Weirdly enough, I could solve my keyboard issue by turning my Apple mouse off and on, but it got annoying. Right now, this wired keyboard is perfect, buttons all work as they should, choices of backlighting or not, controls sound levels as well as all the other functions I'm accustomed to using. Plus, no cost of feeding AA batteries to the wireless. Time will tell, but right now, I am satisfied, even if Apple finally does resolve their bluetooth issue. 5 |

i really didn't want to spend so much money for this keyboard with No Function Keys, like i had on my Brydge Keyboard ( junk, don't buy it ) i read the reviews on Limited Viewing Angle. i wanted Backlit Keys for sure. my Smart Keyboard is a disappointment, so i expected better this time around. when i first got the Magic, it Froze my Screen & App for about 4-5 times, which freaked me out a little. now all is well, i Like it, works great. No Internal Battery to worry about not holding a charge like other 3rd party keyboards ( runs off IPad Battery ) cmd & H is the Home Key combo, the Audio still has to be Adjusted with the Top Buttons or the Swipe Down Control Center. i am very happy to have a Well Working Apple Keyboard for my 12.9 IPad Pro. you will too but it is very pricey like everything Apple 5 |
