Apple Bluetooth Mouse Paired But Not Connected

I didn't like the Apple bluetooth mouse so I bought this one and it works just fine.

Just purchased it at BB, brought it home, connected my speakers, paired the Bluetooth feature and connected to Spotify in minutes. Amazingly simple ... sound is terrific, plenty of power to make my Elac's ring. I bought this after struggling with another brand that begins and ends with O, returned that one and I couldn't be happier with the sound and simplicity of this unit. Now I have to repurchase all the vinyl i gave away :-(

I paired this mouse with my new Macbook Pro. It works perfectly and has a stable bluetooth connection. It fits well in my big hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve really been enjoying this mouse. First time ever using an ergonomic one, so it has taken some getting used to. You can connect up to 3 devices. One by dongle and two by Bluetooth. I have yet to use the dongle, but the Bluetooth connected ridiculously fast and stayed connected with no issues. I’ve used this with regular internet browsing, and general computer use. I also tried with a Steam video game and there was no lag or anything. I really like the fact that this keeps your hand/wrist in a neutral position. Very happy to have this added to my laptop accessories and recommend to anyone.

It can be connected by Bluetooth to your device or there is a usb piece that you can plug into your computer and connect it that way. It runs on a single triple A battery that’s supposed to last up to a year. It is so simple to connect and use.

This mouse has been great so far. I've only used the bluetooth mode so I don't have to deal with the dongle, and so far the mouse has connected nearly instantly when I turn it on or the computer comes out of sleep which is great.

I have an iMac from late 2009 and by bluetooth was not totally compatible with the Magic Track Pad 2. Before ordering the trackpad I researched on the internet, spoke to people at Apple and B&H. What I got was varying opinions. What I concluded was that I should spend the extra money. When they arrived I paired by trackpad to my iMac without the adapter. It worked initially. But when the iMac went to sleep, the pairing was lost. I hooked up the adapter and since then the trackpad and iMac are happily paired. One last comment. Since I bought from B&H and live out of New York State, there was no sales tax. That combined with the lower price for the trackpad at B&H, I saved money versus driving to the closet Apple Store. I've been using Bluetooth mice with my Macs since they became available several years ago, and the Apple Magic Mouse is easily the easiest to use and configure of all the various compatible brands out there. It's a bit more than the competition, but the reliability and ease of use justify the extra cost, IMHO.

Good Bluetooth mouse for use with laptop.

In spite of its shortcomings, the Magic Mouse is still the best Bluetooth mouse for the Mac.
