Apple Certified Refurbished Imac Pro

I purchased a refurbished 15 Macbook Pro from Apple and did not get the Apple Care warranty with the computer. This place has the best price and saved me $100 on the agreement price. It registered with no issues. I can tell you that it is rare that Apple stuff goes bad but when it does, you will be glad you got this. I am not sure how BH does it, but glad they do. If I am ever in the market for a new Macbook in the future, I will shop here first.

Quick shipping, and a lot less than buying from Apple. I used it for my new refurbished Apple Macbook Pro 15 which I bought from Apple a few weeks ago!

This was set up with Apple before my new iMac even arrived.

I went back and forth on whether to jump into the iMac Pro, or build out a PC. I've been on a mac for almost 20 years, so moving to Windows was not what I wanted to do. I edit 8k Raw and generally use Premiere Pro. So, how does Premiere Pro handle 8k Raw on the iMac Pro? Pretty well. Real time at 1/4 rez with zero issues. However, to get the most out of the iMac, one needs to be on FCPX. So I am making the move to FCPX reluctantly, but the reality is Apple is optimized for Apple software. Premiere Pro has been really buggy this last 12 months and while I'll really miss the interface, I won't miss the crashes. Once you're going in FCPX, the iMac Pro can cut through virtually any high end footage you throw at it. But if you live in Premiere, and will continue to do so, you're not getting half the potential out of a new iMac Pro. That's just the reality. So if you're considering it, and considering it for video editing, become a FCPX user. That combination is mind boggling in speed and performance. So I'd definitely recommend the iMac Pro, but only to certain users.

I switched to Apple from PC about 4 years ago. My previous MacBook Pro was more powerful than any of my pc desktops before. So when Apple announced the release of their newest iMac Pro series with 8, 10, 14 and 18 core options, I was saving up my coins to get this monster computer. I chose the 10 core model because it actually has the fastest turbo boost processor speed. Since I use this for my home project recording studio, I have more than enough speed to run all of my extra programs with my Pro Tools Digital Audio Workstation. Everything is so fast and recording latency glitches seem to be a thing of the past. I’m sure businesses that do 3-D modeling and other cpu intensive projects might have need for the 14 and 18 core models but I couldn’t be happier with my iMac Pro.

After two weeks of editing a video project in Apple's Final Cut Pro X (ver10.4) it is clear this iMac Pro was built for it. Some pleasant improvements like audio waveform paints up in front of your eyes, this was a real gripe on my older i7 iMac, 4K video can be played in real-time with affects applied and exporting your project doesn't require a coffee break! So dont think about the price, think about the time you will save...waiting!

Since I bought an iMac apple care was a no brainer since I feel like these may not be as reliable as a mac pro, and for the price a 3 year warranty is definitely worth it.

I got this cable to tether my Canon 5DMkII and 5DMkIII to my Apple iMac and my Apple MACBook Pro. It worked great using Lightroom app and the app for the Canon cameras. Very satisified!

I just got an iMac and Applegate was a must. I have a 3 year old MacBook pro that started having issues. Apple replaced everything that was wrong with it and then some. I have a brand new laptop and it didn't cost me a dime. Well worth it to have a peace of mind

I have been a Mac and Apple user since Apple II days. The iMac Pro is my fourth iMac. The one that it replaces is a late 2015, full house iMac. I use it for processing large still images (Nikon D850) and use it with Adobe CC and Topaz plug-ins. Mine is configured as a mid level iMac Pro with 10 cores and the smaller graphics card, 64GB RAM and 2 TB of solid state memory. I have noticed a dramatic increase in the speed of loading and processing across all of the graphics programs. No noticeable change with word processing or modest spreadsheets. Of course it does not change upload or download times, but installation of upgrades, etc. is much faster after the download. I have had some issues with integrating a LG32HD monitor, but I'm getting those resolved. After updating all of the software and tinkering with the preferences I have eliminated the crashes I used to have with large graphics files. So far, this is a fine machine. An unexpected bonus is how good the internal speakers are.
