Apple Computer And Audio Interface

Perfect alternative to an expensive audio interface for a simple connection with modern hardware and software and (very) legacy instruments. Apple stopped supporting my M-Audio FireWire interface, so this was a blessing. Took me a little poking around to find where in macOS Mojave to set it up, which is in Applications | Utilities | Audio MIDI Setup (screenshots included). Been using it with Apple Logic Pro X and Avid Sibelius to input notes for scoring and arranging.

Did what the Apple the Apple adapter didn't. Allowed me to connect my Antelope Audio Orion TB Audio interface with ASRock Fatality ITX mobo with no issues. Apple version I had to replug to recognize interface with my PC. No issues with this adapter.

Best cable I own. I use this cable for my Yamaha Steinberg UR816c audio interface to my Apple Mabook Pro 16" (2019). There is very little noise (if any) and the communications are solid. This makes recording with a professional XLR microphone directly into a computer super easy. The description says, effortlessly connect your microphone, and it was correct. This is truly plug and play. My computer recognized it fast, and I was up and running in no time at all. It used to be a hassle and require more equipment for me to do what I can do effortlessly now with this audio interface. I like that it can work with both dynamic microphones and condenser mics because it also provides phantom power if you select it to do so. That is great, and again makes my life easier. Having a mic gain is also very helpful to achieve proper levels. And a headphone jack and headphone volume control is another added bonus that I appreciate very much. I plugged it directly into the back of my mics XLR output and then sent the USB C directly to the computer which was the easiest way for me. The sound that came from it was clear and crisp. I noticed no delay and no added noise. The build quality on this interface is also impressive. It is all metal and well-made. The dials feel well made and it comes with dedicated Velcro straps if you want to attach it to something, like a boom pole or stand. I am very happy with this XLR to USB-C audio device. I'm pleased with this USB to XLR interface. Plug it in and it works right out of the packaging. I've had no issues. Simple and effective. I've been using it primarily for presentations out from my computer. It gives me a simple way to send out a balanced audio signal out to speakers. Sound quality is great. I can see it coming in handy for a variety of situations too, like sending the sound from my CPU to an audio mixer, podcasting etc.. I like that it has a small red light to know that the computer recognizes it and it is working. This USB to XLR interface is bus powered and requires no drivers or software to operate which is convenient and makes things very easy. The housing is plastic, but the connectors/connections are metal and well-made, I'm happy with the build quality. Super quiet for computer recording. Send your alt 3\4 outputs to the audio interface and your laying tracks. Spot easy layout and setup. I have owned 16, 14, 12 channel Mackies and they are bullet proof! Hats off to B&H for lightning fast free shipping and hassle free returns!
