Apple Computer Backup Hard Drive

This is a great hard drive for automatic backup of my computer files.

I use the hard drive for backup and it works well.

I got this hard drive for a system backup. I am checking to see how it works with Apple's Time Machine. So far it is working very well. I will then get another one just like it to rotate Off-site to protect my data. This is in addition to a cloud storage.

I bought this hard drive to use with Time Machine on my Mac. I literally just plugged it in, then the computer asked me if I wanted to use it as my Time Machine backup and I clicked yes. Presto. Done. Didn't install any software, it's just plug and play. (I had to buy a new external drive because I got a new computer and the old backup drive would be completely overwritten if I used it for Time Machine. This one is about 1/20 the size of the old. Since I work upstairs in my bedroom at night sometimes, it's nice to have an external drive that is completely portable. This way I tend to plug it in for a backup more often instead of waiting until I am downstairs again.) I actually bought an extra one for a different computer.

I need CD blanks to first backup my computer, in case of external/internal hard drive failure. And to copy/burn and to store relevant data. So I choose Verbatim because they are highly reliable and I have had success with them before.

I use this hard drive to backup my pictures and data. It easily mounts on my Windows 10 computer at home and is easy to use.

This is a solid hard drive. I wanted a good 2TB hard drive to use as a backup drive in my Windows 7 home computer. Using hard drives larger than 2TB is painful with Window 7. So, I wanted to get as much storage as I could. B&H had a GREAT price on this drive.

Lots of receptacles for my computer, monitor, printer, backup hard drive, flatbed scanner, and phone line protection.

This is my 3rd redundant WD external hard drive (all at once), to ensure backup of my data. I recently suffered a total hard drive failure of my computer. Bought new computer, ran everything including my back up email over to new computer, and I'm fine with no lost data. You cannot afford to not buy one of these if you have a computer!

I use this to connect a hard drive to my computer. I get 735mbps read with it. Some of Apple's cables have been poorly constructed in the past. This one is great!!
