These are a little flimsy, but they are gobos - not building supports. For those poor reviews here - yes they have a blue film on them when they arrive - but it is literally easy as can be to remove. Just rub your thumb along an edge and it peels up - then just grab and pull. There is a nice plastic case with a snap lock included. I took a few shots with my Westcott Lindsay thingy and they work great. These are a fraction of the price of the Westcotts I also purchased and I now wish I had just stuck with these. If you have a gobo (or projector or whatever else your manufacturer of choice wants to call it) these should just be considered necessary. No complaints at all.

The window/slat shapes look really cool and work great with the wider lenses to provide a very realistic effect. I've been building and maintaining my home computers, laptops for the past two decades and little did i know when I got my first MacBook Pro Retina 15. As soon as I received it I realized that fixing anything HW related on that machine was slightly beyond the DIY electronics enthusiast capabilities. My suspicions were reaffirmed right away when I encountered LCD image retention issue and I had Apple store replace entire flip on my 2 months old MacBook. I started shopping for the AppleCare Protection Plan right away and learned pretty quickly that it's a much more cost effective option to buy it outside of the Apple store. B&H Photo Video came to the rescue. Not only they offered free shipment/tax option, but the product equates in its quality and reliability anything that you would get straight from Apple, i.e. sealed retail box, instructions etc. Activating the plan was a breeze and now I have a peace of mind for another 2.5 years. Highly recommended purchase!

I use this so that I can have more reach because my workplace is in an older building that does not have a lot of outlets. They did use to give these out whenever you got an Apple laptop, so I have a few around. I'm using most of them though. It would be nice if they made them braided like some of their newer cords.
