As an engineer, I have to admire everything about this product from the hardware design to the firmware that drives it, and the user interface software. I have this in a home system, and with the recommended microphone, have flattened my system's response. The only missing feature I would have included, had I designed this unit, would be a tool to time-align the speaker drivers. I popped the top to check out the ICs the designers used, and was pleasantly surprised to see several ICs mounted on the 45 - I've never seen that before. I might have picked lower-noise op-amps too. 5 |

Apple household, but this hardware makes apple look bad. Bezel is wider than it needs to be, they could make the screen at least 0.5 inches wider. Keyboard and touchpad are much better than I expected given the form factor of the fold-up keyboard. More impressive than the MBP 13 I just bought for my other kid, and it was much more expensive. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a retired engineer. I use my computers for many years, so I want they to survive the early bathtub curve interval. The first three years should cover any mechanical or fan issues the unit is likely to experience. This means that I can expect to get five to seven years out of this computer.
