Apple Computer I7

this computer is fast and its apple... what more can I say.

Just invested a lot of money on the Apple Protection plan on my new iMac i7. Held on to my last mac for 8 years & I'd like to do the same on my new mac....so the Protection Plan was the way to go!

I've had to use AppleCare with my i7 iMac and it was the best deal ever. Apple offers great coverage and protection with all their products for the first year but this just extends that coverage for an additional 2 years. The additional 2 years for peace of mind and for the just in case situations is well worth the price of AppleCare. I mean, come on, you're buying a quality computer and paying a premium for it. What's another 10% of that cost thrown in there for 3x more protection? Just do it, you know you want to.

I cloned a spinnie original HDD in an HP 800/i7 computer onto this SDD and it DOES speed thing up noticeably. Hopefully, with Sandisk's reputation, it'll out last me. Good price and super fast shipping. My 1st B&H purchase, at my son's recommendation

I purchased this computer from a local computer store - i7/32GB/1TB and paid $100 more. After doing some research, I found this version. It arrived on time, is very fast- a little bit heavier than the i7 and contrary to other reviews, I have found the speaker quality to be fantastic. Using this in grad school and it is awesome!

I installed this in a new computer I built with a Intel i7 2600 processor and 16 GB Corsair Vengance memory with a XFX HD 5770 video card and it makes for a very fast computer for editing very large video files and Raw images. This hard drive is fast and very quiet. Great drive!

I upgraded from an i7 hex-core year 2016 processor to this one. This new one made a big difference in performance of compiling times for both software and video editing. My computer has that whole new feel to it performance wise. I expect to continue using this one for at least the next four years - worth every penny of the investment. This processor boasts 10 cores (20 with hyperthreading turned on). Clocks in at 2.81 GHz (I don't overclock - I want reliability) 640kb L1, 2.5mb L2, and 20mb L3 caches. Overall I am very satisfied - almost two months of use (I keep my computer running 24/7 for various home automation tasks) and no hints of problems. I use the stock cooler fan that came with it - and the average core temperature stays between 30-40 degrees Celsius, and peaks to about 80 when running heavy processing applications.

I love my new computer. The i7 processor is fast and smooth. The software is amazing and the screen size is just what I needed. I work several remote jobs being able to split screen and still see everything is amazing!

One of those things you need to have, but wish Apple would include with your computer. Works great.
