I use this cable to transfer photos to my computer. It works perfect.

Obviously a great cable. I have ALWAYS had good luck with apple cables. going back to Thunderbolt 2. This is exactly the same, but better. Transfer rates are great, the braided line is a nice touch. But its insanely priced...

I have a Handycam DV tape camera, and for years I have tried periodically to transfer tapes to my computer. I'm fairly adept at solving these kinds of problems, but I guess I had lost the similar cable that came with the camera (if one was included). I tried to use the iLink but it wouldn't work with my Mac. In fact, way I finally was able to transfer from my camera to the Mac was to go from camera to VHS player with this tape, and then from the VHS player to the computer with the Roxio VHS to DVD (for Mac) cable/software. There may be a better way, but now I finally have a solution!

I have been a wedding photographer for 8 years. The one thing I absolutely dread is always the backup process. Card readers built into the computer can sometimes run slow and there's only one card at a time. So I took a chance and tried the Pro-Dock 4. This reader is amazing. The transfer speed is beautiful, and being able to transfer 4 cards cards simultaneously to a hard drive is brilliant. An incredible added feature is that with the USB-c transfer cable I am able to charge my computer and transfer all via one cable. If anyone is looking for a backend problem solver for cataloging and backing up of data I would highly recommend this product. Had it for 3 weeks now and will be using this always.

I purchased a Video Capture cable recently so that I could transfer S-VHS tapes to my computer. I have started the process and everything is working great. Installing the cable and software went without a problem and the video capture software that ships with the cable is very simple to use. I could not be happier with this purchase.

I bought this cable to transfer footage from my atomx ssd drive to my computer and it works like a charm at a fraction of the cost of other recommended products. I record 4k footage on the atomos ninja v using my atomx ssd and transfer it to my pc with this cable. It works flawlessly.

If you have an older Nikon CoolPix P100, this is the cable you need to transfer .jpg files to your computer. This cable will also enable you to charge the battery in your camera while connected to your computer. These are getting hard to find. I bought two!

I purchased for my 7 Atomos Flame and it fits perfectly. I did need to buy another cable to transfer footage from this to my computer, but very satisfied with the drive!

I like to directly transfer photos from my camera to my computer, rather than WIFI transfer. I had been using the SD card, but didn't like removing the card all the time. With this cable, I can use image capture on my Mac to see the photos on the camera. I can delete the ones I don't like and quickly import those I like. I bought from B&H because I trust that any product I buy from them will be exactly as described. Some other websites featured cables identified as Canon, but readers comments indicate they were not genuine. I also like the ease of ordering and the quick delivery I get with B&H Photo. This cable was exactly what I needed, and I got it fast.

It plugs into my camera and my computer, and makes files transfer. What more do you need? :) The cable itself is thick, likely due to both the quality of construction and the fact it's USB 3.0. The Male A end fits rather loosely into my MacBook Pro, but that's not the cord's fault; the port is only USB 2.0, and too shallow to fit the whole plug. It is compatible though, and transfers files faster than other USB 2.0 cables I've used to tether.
