In switching to a new Apple computer with a processor 3x's faster than my old one, I couldn't afford an upgrade to the 4TB internal drive and instead went with the SanDisk PRO-G40. After running several Disk Speed Tests this is almost as fast as an internal Apple SSD and it cost less than half. Shipping as always from B&H was super fast and I couldn't be more pleased with this SSD. 5 |

Installed this SSD in my late 2013 MacBook Pro. Needed to install in the computer then install the original Apple SSD in the OWC carrier. Then boot holding the option key. This booted the computer with the Apple SSD. Then used OWC recommended carbon copy to clone the OWCSSD. This worked great. It’s been three weeks and all is good. It’s great that OWC have a five year warranty on this drive. 5 |

Love this, no more editing on external disc drive, this SSD is just like having zillion of space on the computer. My Mac Studio has 4 To but sometimes I end-up having to edit multiple projet around the same period. I used to edit on a 8 To disc drive but it's just anoying when it pauses and you have to wait for it to wake up... 5 |

My new computer has an internal 256GB SSD drive and that does not have enough space to hold all the Photos I take of Seniors, weddings, landscape, etc.. So, I looked and found this 5TB drive to have the space I need for my photo storage. Works great and does not require external power. Also, the small size makes it great to carry in my laptop bag. 5 |
