Apple Computer Warranty Phone Number

I have not had to use the AppleCare extended warranty for the Mac Pro (yet), but I can say from past experience that it's a mighty useful thing to have. I've had other Apple stuff that benefited from it. Using it is easy enough. You call Apple support and describe the problem you're experiencing. Depending on the problem, they might talk you through some potential fixes to try first; otherwise, they'll just give you a case number. You take the gear to an Apple Authorized Service Centery, give them the case number, and they fix it. I've never had a piece of equipment down for more than three days.

I spoke with three different computer wiz's, one being a certified apple technician and all urged this warranty purchase. Don't take the risk, Apple Logic Board's cost $$to replace, free with AppleCare. The price is unbeatable, the free shipping was a plus!

I can't say that I approve of Apple only providing a 1 year standard warranty on a $4000 computer and trying to charge $ for Applecare. But I do like that B&H sells it for much cheaper than Apple. I think this is the Canadian version which is why it's cheaper than usual. Either way, I was able to register my Mac Pro so I'm fully satisfied.

As my computer was purchased from the @ almost a year ago, I needed to purchase AppleCare and get the installation serial number in under two weeks. It was available from B&H for 30% off list - a fantastic savings. I ordered from B&H, got ground delivery in about a week, opened the box, took out the serial number, went to the Apple online registration website and was finished and verified by Apple in under 5 minutes. Fantastic! Great job B&H.

Everything worked great out of the box as soon as I signed into my iCloud account. I used the migration assistant to move my applications from my old computer to the new MacBook Pro. At that point Safari stopped working. I went online using my old computer and found Apple support. The site said to put in my telephone number and the product serial number and someone would call me back within two minutes. In less then the two minutes I received the callback and the woman at Apple stayed on the phone with me for a long time until she found that my old computer had a later version of Big Sur than my new computer. Once she had me download the latest update to the OS, Safari, as well as everything else worked perfectly. The excellent Apple support was great. The new machine works so much faster than my six year old iMac that it is unbelievable.

Here are a few key points for those who are looking to purchase. Long lasting battery: Over the past week, listening to music and connecting to my computer for work meetings, I have yet to charge it. It automatically turns off when not in use and connects when needed. So this allows for a longer time of use. Comfort: It is very light, I could hardly tell it was on my head. For someone who is staring at 5 other over the ear headphones, this one is my go to now. Quick connection: If I am on my computer, once I turn it on, it connects automatically now. When I first got it, my tablet (apple), my phone(apple), and my computer (windows) all recognized it and connected without failure. Buttons: The buttons are displaced perfectly on this set. I didn't even have to look at the instructions, it just works! Sound: Crisp and clear for music. Not overly bass heavy, which is nice when comparing them to my Beats. Clear and no background noise for phone calls. I asked many people and made phone calls and everyone stated that they could hear me and I could hear them perfectly. Nice Job JBL!!
