Apple Computer Wireless Keyboard Not Working

The Apple Wireless Keyboard is a convenient way of saving the use my keyboard on my Mac Book pro. I also love the grey steel color because it matches my computer. It truly makes a fashion statement. I bought the keyboard to save the use of my computer keyboard.

This is my 2nd Apple wireless keyboard. Needed it for my other computer. Apple simply makes the best keyboards. Rock solid performance and once you've worked on one for a while, the others feel like you are walking on rocks.

My working computer is a MacBook Pro 13 2017 4-port. I am learning video editing and needed more screen real estate.  After researching prices for quality 4k monitor prices for my laptop, this iMac was only a few hundred $ more, and you have a new computer to boot.  This machine is blazingly fast compared to my MacBook, and verified when checked with geekbench's free version, which is to be expected with a newer machine, and the screen is beautiful.  My only complaint is with Apple not making the wireless keyboard with the same size keys and spacing as a MacBook. Going back and fourth between machines, as I do in my daily workflow, I find my fingers overshoot on the smaller wireless keyboard. The new Trackpad has some of the same feel issues as well. The Apple Magic Wireless Keyboard with Numeric Keypad has improved my productivity considerably. The keyboard is comfortable to type on and having the benefit of a numeric keyboard attached is great.

The Apple Magic Wireless Keyboard w/ Numeric Keypad is one of the best keyboards I have owned. It is very slim and feels reminiscent of the MacBook Pro I used to own. I love having the numeric keypad off to the side, as I use it a lot. Battery life is amazing. When I first got this one, I had forgotten to turn it off at the end of the day and left it on for a few days straight.....only to find that it still has battery life left. It charges quickly, with the included cable, and syncs automatically without requiring you to go through the normal steps like you would bluetooth ear buds or something. The only thing I wish the keyboard had - that it doesn't have - is backlit keys. I'm sure there is an aftermarket option somewhere that would offer the backlit keys, but this one fit my budget and is a very solid keyboard.

I need this computer to be in perfect working order for many years and Apple care does that.

This is the wireless keyboard that Apple should have made. This keyboard by Matais is exceptionally well made and works GREAT; I LOVE IT !

I wanted a wireless key board with the numeric keypad...I do a lot of date entry. Chose the Apple product over others because of past experience with Apple products. Also looked at other manufacturers and customer comments...this clinched my decision to buy the Apple product. It is a great keyboard and meets all of my expectations. One thing to note, previous Apple keyboards have tabs underneath that allows you to tilt the front of the keyboard up...this keyboard does not have that feature. I put a small piece of wood under the key board to tilt mine up.
