Bought this computer with 8GB RAM for my video/photo editing, and upgraded with these for cheaper than the Apple cost, and oh man did it change things fast. So happy the RAM isn't soldered into these machines. I added these to the 8GB cards already in there to total 72 and it seems to work fine. (I saw that question a lot and also wondered). When installing make sure to press them firmly into place or the door won't close the right way! :) I love B&H. Shipping is always on point too.

I love Apple...everything is so easy when setting up the tablet. I have an iMac desktop computer but rarely need to use it because my tablet does just about everything I need to do on line. I use several external SSDs while editing video for broadcast. This helps me to work on programs at home or at the office. The Thunderbolt cable not only connects the SSDs to my desktop, it also connects my laptop to my desktop. The ability to transfer 30 GB files in less than a minute (machine to machine) is a great help.

I've been looking for a good pair of desktop monitors for a while now. My primary use is video editing with Premiere Pro. I also use them for listening to the audio from an SDR (Software Defined Radio) and general purpose use ie: streaming video. These fit my needs perfectly. The are the perfect size for my limited desk space. Best of all the sound quality is awesome! They totally blow away the built in speakers in my laptop. The detail is amazing compared to what I was used to. I have no need for a sub with my setup.

This is a gem. I do a lot of video editing using multiple portable and desktop drives as well as needing to charge my cell phone and various bits of camera gear. I've got my seven most used drives plugged in now and can access any of them just by turning the ports on (or off when done). Have my cell charger permanently plugged in. Sure beats the old method of only being able to run two drives at once. Highly recommend this...small desktop profile. Power for drives and charging. Can't ask for much more.
