Apple Earphones Cannot Plug Into Macbooks Solution

I have several MacBooks and needed to beef up the specs for a new purchase. This would have nearly doubled the cost that I have previously paid, so I began searching for an alternative solution. I talked with a B & H expert and he suggested I take a look at a Mac Mini. It seemed like a good solution to the higher priced MacBook -- I would be able to get the screen size of my choice and only lose being able to use it's battery -- which I didn't need anyway. Bravo to B&H tech support for offering a superior option for my needs.

Whats not to like, plug it in and away you go. It's from Apple, what else can I say.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do, and for the right price. Plug and play operation. Cannot ask for more than that

Since Apple has reduced the number of ports on their new MacBooks you have to find a way to connect your older devices to it. Of all the products I looked at and considered, Xcellons' Portside Dock is far and away the best. Most reviews of other products were littered with problems mainly caused by unexpected disconnection. The Xcellon Dock plugs into both ports on either side of the MacBook Pro with a distinctive click of affirmation, that your devices will remain in contact with your laptop. It arrived when promised and was well protected for shipment to my home.

MacBooks are great when they work. However, they are prone to issues like any other laptop. I bought this for my third MacBook and have only used the previous warranties for replacing the AC adapter. However, it is good piece of mind for three years and you can walk your laptop into the Apple store for a quick diagnosis. And with an Apple, the laptop is usually pretty useful after the three years when compared to PCs.

I love Apple Care - as we all know when Macbooks die, they die specularly, so this insurance is worth every penny. I have had entire logic boards and batteries replaced for free in the past, so I wasn't going miss getting it for my 5th Macbook.

I prefer the original Apple products / adapters for their quality - I still use MacBooks with USB Type-A adapters, but need to be prepared for a USB Type-C devise.

We used it for apple macbooks in a hotel conference room to use over the house speakers. All that was available were XLR mic inputs every 30' or so. This worked like a charm. All the videos had great sound quality, and we didn't have to bring in a mixer or additional speakers. Great for traveling with a small amount of gear for these type of corporate gigs.

This thing is a god send. If you're having problems getting Apple TV or MacBooks to show up on projectors or getting blocked at HDMI distribution amps ... this is your solution.... turns off the HDCP compliance tag that Apple products transmit. Awesome product!!!

With the release of the new M3 Macbooks, Apple now only carries the base model of this Macbook Air (M2), which comes with 8GB of memory. Since I needed a 16GB version I started looking online. While I found the exact same model sold for the same price from B&H and BestBuy, I ultimately decided to go with B&H because of their focus on customer service and a clear mission.
