Apple Earphones Deaf And Hard Of Hearing

Being seriously deaf, I use high-powered hearing aids with the T-switch (telephone), and while I can hear okay in distances of a few feet, public gatherings such as church are impossible for me. Many venues, such as my church provide assistive listening devices, but I have a phobia about putting an earpiece used by I-don't-know-who in my ear, and not knowing if it has been cleaned after the last use, although many times it is obvious it has not been. About 15 years ago I learned about the Williams Sound Induction Neckloop and have used it ever since. I usually get several years of use from one, although this last one seems to be better made and uses a slightly heavier wire. I also use it in smaller group sessions with my personal voice receiver to good effect as well. I highly reccommend it to anyone who wears a hearing aid(s) with the T-switch. It is money well spent. 5 |

I am pretty deaf, have real problems understanding speech, hearing aids don't really work that well for me. I purchased my 1st set of these last year and love them. I blue tooth them to my phone and TV, listen to TV exclusively on them. If phone rings it interrupts the TV and sounds through the phone, brilliant! I got the 2nd set because I wear them all day and most times battery would run down late in the evening so I wanted to just change sets to continue listening. The new ones were not only much cheaper but I think a little louder even. They should target some advertising for the hard of hearing. 5 |

I am single sided deaf and can't stand earbud style headphones. I had such a hard time finding a headphone that would route all the sound to one side and go over the ear. This is perfect for my needs. It works beautifully and now I can listen to my iPod again 5 |

Exactly as Advertised. Work as well as Apple earbuds. If you are Sony, you really can't mess up earphones. 5 |

These are my first wireless earphones and man am i glad i got them. With the Apple W1 chip pairing with my iPhone is seamless. Also since im not an audiophile, the sound quality i would say is just right for the casual listener. 5 |

I like this item, but I am profoundly deaf, and the sounds are very soft, and I can't distinguish them very well. 5 |

Hello everyone, I highly recommend these earphones. They aren't necessarily noise-cancelling, but it does mute out most noises you do not wish to hear when listening to videos or music. They have a high quality feel to them and so is the audio quality. The bass is nice and adequate for your typical music listeners, like myself, who listen to rock n' roll. You also have voice-cancelling feature when you make phone calls, which was what I was eyeing, because of my past experiences with wired/wireless earphones, people will tend to have a hard time hearing me with noise in the background. What is also brilliant is the USB-C charging option. USB-C is the future and it speeds up the process of acquiring full battery. The box also came with extra earbuds so they can be comfortable in your ears. The instructions are also well-explained. However, if you do have a hard time understanding they have a QR Code to read online for more detailed instructions. The earphones do not fall out of your ear when working out, and it is sweat and water resistant (not waterproof). This beats those overly expensive $100-$400 earphones from your local stores. Airpods only last 6 hours, while this lasts well beyond that. 5 |
