Apple Earphones Mic Not Working Windows 10

Working with no issues on my wife's PC, Windows 10

Tested with Shure SM58S mic on windows 10 PC/Laptop. Works with both.

I am happy with my new extender screen for working on multiple things at once. Because of Windows 10 the monitor came up without the installing. I still did the installing as the product described. The way it allows one to be flexible with the attachments is super. Would have likes it to be a bit bigger, but that is minor at this time. Very appreciative of the display and quality , Thank you

An excellent device ! It is very fast & working 100% as it's documentation saying. Moreover, I test it on my Linux laptop with Fedora Linux 32 X64 bit Cinnamon edition. It is working 100% on Linux as it is already do on Windows 10 ! I tested it on 2 laptops: one with Windows 10 & 2nd with Fedora Linux. The package reached to me by DHL in very good state. Device was very well packaged against shocks. I examined optical drive. There was no any scratching line, nor even a finger print on it. The surprising thing to me is that the accuracy of B&H store for time at which device will reach to my door in Iraq - Baghdad where I'm living !! B&H gave me 23 / 4 / 2021 as an expected date. But, DHL itself gave me more remote date of arrival at 2 / 5 / 2021. In fact I received the package at 11:03 A.M of 22 / 4 / 2021, one day before the B&H store expectation ! An excellent service by B&H store for International buyers, like me ! Thank you very much !

I bought this as a replacement for my Canoscan 8600F which stopped working under Windows 10. It is very compact, aided by the side stand, taking up very little desk space. While it can be used in that position, I prefer to use it flat. There is no power switch, as the unit is powered when plugged in ti USB. Operation is simple and the results are good.

My computer front ports stopped working with a Windows 10 update, and I could not get them to work again. But my rear 3.1 ports were working fine. So I saw this little unit, and bought it at B&H's low price. It's plug and play, and functions perfectly. I plugged it into a rear port, and double-sided taped it to the computer top. It has a power button that once turned on, never has to be used again. Turn the computer off, turn it on again, and the hub powers up with the computer. Perfect, and an easy fix! I can high-speed transfer to my USB sticks again!

The mic comes in a neat protective pouch. Windows 10 and Nuance Dragon Professional immediately recognized it and put it to use. In fact, I'm using the mic with Dragon to write this review. It's the best mic I've ever had and is an ideal companion for Dragon.

I wanted to enable voice commands with Windows 10 on my PC. I needed a mic, but most that I found initially were intended for podcasters or recording live music into a PC or laptop. In other words, too large and expensive for my needs. Yet, I wanted a mic of good enough quality that Cortana would accurately hear voice commands - even at a little distance. The Meteorite Mic has worked great so far, and it has a really small footprint on my desk. I use it to launch programs, search my local PC or the web. I imagine I'll find more ways to benefit from voice input over time. The brief instructions that came with it were sufficient to enable the mic in the Windows 10 settings.

I bought these for our company to do at home recorded videos on their laptops with better audio quality than the built in laptop microphone. I just tested it and compared it to the laptop mic and there is a very noticeable increase in quality when using the usb lav. At first it was way too over modulated but then I realized I needed to tweak the mic settings in windows 10. First, plug it in and let it download the drivers automatically. Then, type the word sound in the windows 10 search bar and click sound settings. In there, go to the microphone area and make sure the usb lav is the active one selected. Once it is, click on device properties and in that menu adjust the volume slider until you have a proper microphone level that isn't topping out too much to the right on the sound level bar. I put mine around 40-50 but it depends on how close the mic is to you mouth.
