I used it to upgrade my MacBook Pro early 2011. My computer feels now like a new computer. I think I have a computer for 4 years more. The performance so fast is incredible. I use my computer for scientific purposes with lots of calculations and reading and writing. I think this was the best option to go. 5 |

Upgraded my 512 drive in my 13 MacBook Pro (early 2011 model) which was having issues opening applications, and just overall sluggish performance. Installed the 850 Pro SSD and I now have what feels like a new machine. I should be able to get another 2-3 years out of the Macbook. A worthwhile investment. 5 |

Apple Care is important product for anyone purchasing a MacBook Pro. It provides 3 years of care for the product which includes hardware problems. Most software problems can be solved outside of Apple but hardware only Apple can service and Apple Care takes care of that. 5 |
