I have two pairs of headphones that haven't been used much. Over the years the black earpiece cover slightly denigrated and started flaking off. I recently started using them again and the flakes would get all over my face. But why throw something away when the sound was great. The covers work perfect. Easy to put on and will extend the life of my old favorite headphone!!! In the future I will use them on any new headphone purchase to prolong the integrity of the earpiece. A must-have to connect to your iPhone 7, 8, & X. In my case my 6-month old Apple Lightning to headphone adapter didn't work; once I replaced it with a new one this Rode cable worked properly. BONUS: Check out the Rode SC6 to add a headphone output to the input chain! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not happy when Apple got rid of the headphone jack, and held on to my old iPhone as long as I could. Eventually, I wanted to update my phone to a newer version, which meant losing the headphone jack. That means I had to choose between charging or music, but this little piece of technology has fixed that! Now I can charge my phone and play music through my aux at the same time.
