It's big, it's heavy, and it's solid. I can put heavy equipment on it, and it holds it well. The air cushion is a welcome safety feature.

If one uses a Feisol head, it is best to use their plates. They have a safety pin locking feature that only works with their head. Its a nice feature which won't allow the camera to come off until the pin is released, avoiding a possible fit of cursing over broken stuff. I use a couple of these with a Speedgraphic (heavy). Works fine. These are standard ArcaSwiss and should work with any of that hardware protocol.

You don't want to have to worry about sandbags. They're a safety feature. Buy what works simply and consistently every time. Highlights: Some sandbags have a handle that runs vertically, and some have a handle that runs horizontally. While many prefer those vertical handles for carrying, the horizontal handles that run across the width of the bag make it much easier to remove from a stand. I'm really glad that these bags have both!

Talk about a feature packed on-camera mic. Two different low pass filters, safety channel recording, auto on/off feature, gain control, and NTG technology? All for $250? I plan on pairing it with the DMW-XLR1 for my S1H and excited to hear the results.

I love the sound the comfort the safety feature of these Openfit Shokz. I only wish there was another way of turning them off other than just putting them back in their case.
