Apple Ibook Wireless Router Connect To Network

Synology makes setting up this mesh router fairly simple. Power it on next to your router, use the DS router app and you're up and running in about 15 minutes. I have four of them and they are all wired. So make sure you follow the instructions and connect it wirelessly to the router first, then take it where you want on the network and plug it in. The ability to add a dozen of the MR2200's to my router means that I can create a reliable and fast wireless network that rivals my wired network in terms of square footage and then go beyond the building. My wireless devices automatically drop and connect as I move around. I could not be happier with this device because it is reliable and the range meets all my needs. I have no complaints from my network users.

I purchased this router to use as an extender for my primary Synology Router. It was easy to set up and install. Also I had to do was connect it to AC Power and use the mobile app on my phone to complete the set up. There were some updates available which it download and installed.  It functions well and gives me the extended range I wanted. I would recommend this router as an extender, but if you have more than two network devices to connect you will need a switch device. It only has two network connections, which limits its function as your primary router.

Wanted a basic router to upgrade my wireless network..Simple to set up and works great..

My old Apple router (yeah, old), was beginning to behave erratically. I selected the Nighthawk to replace it. The Nighthawk was very easy to setup, and (not unexpectedly) the problems went away *and* my network performance improved in every way throughout the house! Installing the Nighthawk on the 2nd floor of our townhouse, it provides more than enough signal to the Apple TV in the *basement* - no need for mesh network nodes! Corners of the house that used to be a bit spotty now have strong signal, and the main living area has super-strong signal. Love this router! Be sure to engage Smart Connect!

This is what I need. I want this device to connect to the wireless network (at hotel, etc) and provide me with an ethernet port. I will then connect an Amplifi Instant Router the the ethernet port on this TP-Link RE600X and provide me with my own private network. The Amplifi Instant Router will easily connect to my AmplifI HD router at home and create a VPN connection that can be used by any devices I travel with to give those devices access to my home network.

Upgraded from 802.11ac router and wireless network was dramatically improved - both speed and reliability. Gigabit FiOS was previously bottle necked by old router but now getting much closer to advertised numbers. No longer having issues with mult computers accessing VPNs and/or simultaneous Zoom calls. Set-up took a few tries but now very reliable. Very happy with upgrade.

Speeds on the network seem fantastic after dumping my cable provider router! Both wireless and wired!

Needed to replace a wireless router with this router. Love the smaller footprint as it adds room in my network box.
