Bought this to boot my 2011 iMac from an external drive I useD 2 SSDs 500gb as boot drive created with CCC Backup and a 2TB for my photos and LR catalogue and previews. Before conversion the iMac took more than 5minutes to boot up through login to installing LR. Now it takes 20 seconds to login screen and another 15 to load LR. The toaster was recommended by CCC Backuo .. read their comprehensive guide first.

Purchased 15 of these to upgrade an entire fleet of 2011 iMacs in a computer lab to SSDs. With these upgrades, the iMacs have new life and are as speedy as some of the newest iMacs on the market today. Highly recommend. After spending about 20 minutes on the first iMac, I was able to get it down to about 10 minutes.

Used with a Canon PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II, printing from Lightroom 4 on a 2011 iMac. Colors are vibrant, blacks are deep. Paper is a good weight and feels great in the hand. Will definitely be giving Ilford top consideration when I buy more photo paper.

We finally had to admit to end of life for our beloved 2011 iMac. This 2020 model promises to be just as good...well better actually! Graphics and performance are top notch. It can handle multiple applications run simultaneously. It's great for gaming, business, and general use. The old model had a built in disc drive but this model works well with the Apple USB SuperDrive attachment which allows us to continue to access and manage our old school materials.

I have an iMac for mid 2011 and recently added this 32GB RAMs by myself and they are working very well. I had windows 7 home premium version installed as well but at beginning it just showed 16GB (Usable ram) , after I upgrade to windows 7 perfessional 64 bit it does show 32 GB . so I recommend to upgrade your iMac and enjoy your 6/7-year-old computer!
