Apple Imac 27 8Gb 2Tb Fusion Drive Computer

I upgraded my 27 inch iMac with a Fusion drive so out came the CD. I got the super drive to replace it. Something to keep in mind.. it has to be directly plugged into a USB from the computer. A powered hub doesn't do it. Once you do that, I works wonderfully with cd's, dvd's, and recordable CD's/DVD's. Actually, it works better than the cd that came with my iMac.

I got this for my 2020 iMac 27. I bought it with 8GB and quickly swapped out for these and the computer just flies. I’m slicing and dicing large video files, while converting audio files in the background.

The Apple Super Drive (CD/DVD) is a perfect addition to my 27 iMac. It attaches easily to a 3.0 USB jack. It both allows me to load applications and music/video with ease, or playback stored media. Because it is an Apple product, its speed and reliability go without saying. Highly recommended for all Apple devices that do not have a built-in optical drive.

Bought to use with a new 27 5K iMac also purchased from B & H. Less than half the price of the Apple Super Drive. Plugged in via USB and it worked flawlessly. Finish is slightly different than iMac but I don't leave out on desk when not in use. I am very satisfied with this product.

I have been very happy with LaCie External HDs for cloning my iMac computer. This 2TB drive is perfect and works like a charm with Carbon Copy Cloner to backup my iMac desktop!

I've owned this iMac for over a year now, & still glad I bought it when I did. Replaced my 2013 21" i5 with only 8gb ram. Now, When using Logic Pro X it is so much faster. The screen is big & beautiful. Came with 8gb ram, added an extra 64gb from OWC, I had used the saved money to get it with 2TB storage, added the best display, and the 10gb Ethernet port. i9, 64gb ram, 2TB storage. B&H gave me special financing for 12 months. I received my order before the estimated arrival date. Still Very Very pleased with the product & this place of purchase.

Easy to install and no my iMac 27" (2017) runs fast! It came with 8GB and worked great until it came time to render video. With this memory installed, video lagging is no more. I am using Final Cut Pro and working with 1080p shooting multi cam. BONUS-B&H is cheaper than the crucial website
