Plug and play driver installation via Windows Update; manual driver installation on macOS. Dock does not charge host PC. This docking station was easy to set up. The quality of it seems to be nice and the docking station looks premium. It seems to be working flawlessly for what I need. This Apple Thunderbolt 2 cable, was the cable needed to connect an older desktop MacPro(late 2013) computer to a OWC Thunderbolt 3 docking station(note: a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 adaptor is needed to connect the computer to a Thunderbolt 3 docking station.
