This is essentially the same cable apple includes with an iPhone and iPad. If you're going to use it to charge and iPhone or iPad, make sure you have a USB adapter you can plug into an outlet. It's MFI certified which is certification for compatibility with Apple products. The cable is a little less flexible than Apple's cable. This might be due to a thicker and sturdier outer jacket which would make this cable a little more durable than the Apple cable. 5 |

I bought this to help with connecting my projector that was purchased from Amazon. I did not buy this AV adapter there because they are not legitimite apple items like this is. It is working very well with the projector and I'm happy to have waited to get an authentic apple product. 5 |
