Using SmallRig's Universal Phone Cage with an iPhone 12 Pro Max and this light created a very effective filming tool that looked surprisingly professional. I bought the iPhone case a month or two ago to use w/ MagSafe mounts as well as the mechanical universal mount on bikes and motorcycles, and I'm very happy with it. I prefer the look and slimmer profile to the other mechanical mount case a friend has. The case stays magnetically mounted in 2 different vehicles w/o a problem and without a mechanical mount. On the bikes it stays reliably in place. The case's magnets are strong enough my phone will stick to any vertical metal surface in my home or on the metal pegboard in my garage. Somebody also suggested using the universal mount on a backpack strap for easy access while hiking. 5 |
