Apple Ipod Docking Station With Extra Speakers

My wife and I purchased the Play5 and the Play1 because our iPod docking station wasn't cutting it and we wanted to be able to play music from SiriusXM in the house. This has allowed us to do those things, use our iPod (through the aux jack) and listen to local radio. The control of these is very simple and intuitive and they sound great. We listen to more music now and isn't that what you want?

This docking station was easy to set up. The quality of it seems to be nice and the docking station looks premium. It seems to be working flawlessly for what I need. I really like that it is light and works nicely with my Chromebook and 2 monitors. The packaging comes with UD-MSTHDC Docking Station, power adapter, USB-C and USB-C cable.

This Apple Thunderbolt 2 cable, was the cable needed to connect an older desktop MacPro(late 2013) computer to a OWC Thunderbolt 3 docking station(note: a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 adaptor is needed to connect the computer to a Thunderbolt 3 docking station. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is great for office work. It looks like 60Hz is the highest refresh rate, which is fine for most tasks but not ideal for gaming. The picture quality is beautiful, with bright and vibrant colors right out of the box. Whites are very clear, making it perfect for office use. The built-in laptop docking station is a big plus. I connected a wireless mouse, keyboard, and LAN cable to the monitor, and only needed one USB-C cable (included) to plug into my laptop for charging and all the peripherals. This setup really cuts down on desk clutter. I even wall-mounted it using the standard VESA mount holes, freeing up more desk space. The monitor is large enough to easily display two windows side by side in Windows. The outer bezels are small, though the back is a bit thicker because of the docking station. There are no built-in speakers, but it does have a 3.5mm jack for external speakers or headphones.

I was amazed at how much more capability this docking station gave me. This is a must to have for those who have extra accessories because it gives you extra ports and operates at a very high speed.

I needed some extra ports on my work laptop as I have not received a docking station yet. No brain install. Note I could not use my Webcam and Jabra Headset at the save time as apparently they both want to draw a lot of power. But I have the cam, a Logitech dongle, webcam light, and USB stick all on the hub with no problems. Highly recommend.
