Apple Ipod Only Play Mono In Headphone

This device has a small footprint and is very thin. No instructions were necessary. It was plug and play. Only wonder why apple no longer equips its iMacs with this necessary interface.

This is perfect for connecting stereo outputs(ipod/ipad/laptop,etc) to a mono or paging system in schools, auditoriums and in churches. Easy setup.

If you use the apple headphone adapter, you can also use it with iPhone X

Does everything you would expect from a cheap headphone amp and more. Very satisfied. I use it to boost the signal from an Ipod.

It's been a few years since being in need of a new headphone amp. I've owned an older version of a Rolls headphone amp and I really liked it for my professional recording studio... so much so that I bought 4 of them for all my sound rooms. It's been several years since I left the recording industry but over the last year I've been podcasting with some friends of mine and I'm getting my new (tiny) home studio up while upgrading equipment when I have the extra cash to do so. I ran across this beauty that has everything I need, plus more! This is a major step up from the ones I owned in the early 90's. The biggest plus and difference is being able to use other 1/4 or 1/8 jack on the front. It saves me from making sure I have the correct adapter if someone brings his or her own headphones or earbuds. It also has the LINK/JOIN capability of which I have used on previous models and comes in super handy if daisy chaining more than one box together. Works in either mono or stereo. You can't pan but that's not really the purpose for which this was designed. If you need more individual control as opposed to a stereo or mono headphone signal, I'd suggest buying a small 4 channel mixer. It's quiet and discrete, I don't hear any extra added component hum or buzz even when linking two or more boxes. It's not having to drive a bunch of wattage so the unit itself doesn't radiate any measurable heat to the touch. My signal chain: I have my Soundcraft Signature 12MTK headphone out (stereo) TRS 1/4 to 1/4 split L/R into the headphone amp. I drive the Soundcraft headphone out gain about three-quarters to full. The headphone amp takes care of the rest of the gain. No hesitation in purchasing another one of these. No hesitation in recommending this headphone amp to others. I've owned other and less expensive headphone amps but none of them have all the functionality and solid workhorse longevity as the Roll RA53B.

Ill first start by saying that this amplifier has a nice sturdy metal build. While there are many uses for this device I am using it along side my mixer board. Sometimes I need an extra headphone out and this works well. I just took a long 1/4 cable and plugged it into one of my mono outs and then into this Polsen amplifier. Since it is a mono source you can simply move the internal switch from stereo to mono. That way you can have sound in both of your headphones. So far it works great for the way that I'm using it and its plenty loud. Just be careful when sliding the case back on as you can accidentally pinch some exposed wires that hang near the battery tray. The only thing I have not tested is how long the batteries will last as you will need batteries to operate it. This would be a great option for live performers or someone like me who just needed an extra headphone out. [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.]

I do upscalled in home studio recordings. For my artist headphone mixes I send out a mono signal down the TS return of my snake going into the "studio proper". Then I patch into the presonus hp4 from the snake and hit the handy Mono button and I'm able to maximize quality of my headphone mixes. When using cheaper boxes you get signal on only one side of the artists headphones due to my current set up. I think the mono flip adds a ton of utility to this headphone box. Get what ya pay for.

I needed a simple FM non-stereo radio which could run on AC and had a mono headphone jack. This radio does exactly what I need.

I was looking for a Bluetooth device to play music from my Ipod and Ipad to my older Denon receiver. After looking at the reviews, I picked this one even though it was pricey than others I have looked at. When it arrived, it was well packaged, came with a usb power supply , usb cable, gold plated audio cables and a cloth bag to store the unit. Even though it has a optical digital output, No optical cable was included. I had this for about 3 months now and I can say that I'm really impressed with it and wouldn't hesitate to buy any of their products. I would recommend this to anybody looking for a high quality Bluetooth receiver.
