Apple Lightening Headphones Adapter Xs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full disclosure: I was sent this product to review it. Honestly, it works great for its intended purpose. I was able to charge my phone and connect Lightning headphones at the same time. I didn't notice any difference in sound quality between plugging the headphones into this product or plugging them straight into my iPhone. They also work perfectly with the 3.5 mm to Lightning adapter provided by Apple with my phone. The RockStar feels sturdy and uses Apple's signature look well. If it weren't for the Belkin logo on the Lightning plug, this could easily have been mistaken for something made by Apple. It also couldn't be simpler to use. Plug it into the iPhone and plug your headphones and power cord into either available port. There are only two things I could think of to make this product better. First would have been to have one port be a 3.5 mm jack. I only have the one pair of lightning headphones Apple provided and the adapter. I have a pile of old headphones though. My second thought would have been, if you have two Lightning ports on the adapter, let it be used to plug in two sets of headphones to act as a splitter. This may be a limitation set by Apple and not the product itself, but it would add a level of use to the RockStar. If you use Lightning headphones or 3.5 mm headphones with a Lightning adapter, this is a great product to be able to listen to music while you charge your phone. Personally, I use Bluetooth about 99.9% of the time, but I'm glad I have this product for those times I can't.

First off, let me say I'm still not pleased with Apple for removing the 1/8 jack for headphones, but I understand why they did it to have better enclosed housing for the newer gen phones. With that being said, I've used 3rd party knock-offs of this adapter and to put it politely, they are s#@t. Just pay what Apple wants for this adapter and save yourself a lot of headache down the road, even tho it really is overly priced.

This device can replace most laptops and is lightening fast with its M2 chip, which allows for Apple to use less RAM with greater efficiency. It may be overkill compared to most tablets, but this can replace a laptop for most casual users.

I kept having the basic cable for my iPad mini bulging and breaking through so wires were visible at lightening end. Apple suggested I try this cord and I am amazed at the durability! I highly recommend to those of us who are a little hard on our cords!

My Apple TV Gottfried in a lightening strike and I needed something to screen share one app (MiLB) that ONLY works with iPhone and screen share. This cord did the trick. I can plug my phone into my TV to watch minor league baseball (and anything else!) from my phone to my TV.

I purchased 2-3 others from amazon at first but each of them dulled the sound from my phone and also had a loud buzzing noise. This was the first adapter that actually worked and has consistently worked! It’s a lot easier to charge and play music now as I only have one thing I have to plug in every time. Really good adapter!

One of the best wireless headphones. I've got the apple EarPods and these are way better.

The SmartLav mic works perfectly on the iPhone Xs. However, you need this adapter when youre using the mic with non smartphones. I use this adapter with my DJI Osmo Pocket and it works GREAT!
