Apple M1 Macbook Pro 16Gb Ram

This adapter works perfectly for my new MacBook Air with M1 chip and 16Gb RAM! I am Zooming all the time and screen sharing, so I use the Ethernet port and HDMI for my second screen!

Needed to get a MacBook replacement as one had broke for a client. Apple had a longer window for the 16GB ram models and in todays industry there's no reason why anyone should get 8GB for work. That being said called B&Hand they had these in stock ready to ship. Process was seamless and compared to M1 Mac it's quite an upgrade especially the screen.

Ordered 11/20/2020 received 01/18/2021!  Ordered the MacBook Pro 13 with M1 Chip, 16GB and 1TB of storage.    Purchased to upgrade my old MacBook Pro 15.4 Mid 2014  i7 2.5Ghz, 16GB and 256GB of storage.       Wish apple had this one with a 16 display at the time of my purchase! But I can't wait another month without a computer so I decided to go with the 13 display.   Overall very good and solid, super fast, great battery life!  The ONLY bad thing is the Camera Quality!  The camera is just Horrible! I did some research on the problem and it looks like Apple scw us over with the camera! many users with MacBook Pro and Air with M1 chips are complaining about the camera image quality.   For the price of this machine I would expect to have a better camera.

Heard all the buzz about this new M1 Chip from Apple, so since I do quite a bit of 4k Video editing for my clients, thought I would compare a M1 16gb/1TB version to my 2017 Macbook Pro i7 with 16gb/1TB. The difference is night and day, this M1 chip runs circles around the older Macbook Pro. I don't have any benchmark numbers to throw at you in backing up my claim, you can find those on the internet. One thing I noticed right away is the fan hasn't come on yet and stays cool - under the same tasks as I did before, the older one would get hot rather quickly processing 4k video and turn the fan on. The battery life is a game changer, I am able to go all day editing photos/videos for clients and upload on my hotspot while enroute to the next job without plugging in. With my older 15 Inch Macbook pro, I would need to plug it in every 2-3 hours. I can say as a business owner who deals with photos/videos on the daily, this new M1 chip is more than capable of the task and at a better price point than the $2400+ 16 inch models or previous generation Macbooks.

I upgraded to this 2022 Macbook Air with 16gb Ram & 500gb Storage from my 2016 Macbook Pro with 16gb Ram & 500gb Storage. So far it is great! I will say that occasionally it is a tad slower on some tasks compared to my old pro, but in most cases it is better and faster as it is a big upgrade and can keep up with newer technology that I use for work much better. The color Midnight is pretty, but I do recommend at least a clear case because it attract fingerprints very easily. It is also so much lighter than my pro which is a huge plus for traveling since I work remote!

I replaced my MacBook Pro 15 Mid-2015/512GB SSD/16GB RAM/AMD M370X 2GB Graphics with this one. At the beginning, I was afraid I would miss all the specs of the old one, but I've been loving it ever since. Even with 8 apps opened at the same time and a bunch of tasks to do, it has proven fast enough, extremely worthy of its price and the battery is great for daily average to intense use. I would recommend it for most of the people, specially college students.

I owned a 2021 M1 Pro Max MacBook Pro with 64 GB of RAM and decided to get the latest high end MacBook Pro with an M3 CPU. So far I am happy with my choice of color and memory (black and 48 GB). I haven’t had it for long but all the apps I need are fast and I will skip the M4 and get the M5 just like I skipped the M2. I recommend this to any serious developer and content creator.

100% happy with this. Incredibly fast with the 16gb of RAM and 1TB SSD, and, of course, the M1. The only drawback (other than high price) with many Apple products is there is zero upgradability, so it doesn't pay to cheap at the time of purchase. 16GB RAM and the 512GB SSD are the minimum I'd recommend as you can't add RAM or internal storage later.

I know this is an M1, not even M1Pro, chipset in this laptop. It has 16GB of no-upgradeable RAM. It only has two ports besides the audio one. Still, I don't see a reason to pay for M2 prices. This is plenty enough computer for my needs. I'm not a pro photog and don't need something for that kind of workflow. I do have a work MacBook Pro 16 which is spec'd to the 9's. I know the difference and didn't see the need for me to spend more. This little gem is plenty for me right now. Maybe later I'll get a real beast, but not today. I'm in my happy, photo editing place.

I purchased Apple Care+ for my new 16-inch M1 MacBook Pro. WIth a purchase this big, I knew I needed to have it covered. Getting to have spill and other accident protection is essential. If you're gonna get something as essential as a laptop for your work, get Apple Care+. Even if you never has to use it, it's always good to have it.
