The new Apple 16 MacBook Pro (M3 Max, Space Black) is the fastest MacBook Pro yet with the M3 Max setup. I went with 64 GB Memory and 2 TB Storage. The new Space Black is very cool as well. This new MacBook replaces my 1-1/2 year old M2 Max with same memory and storage. I would have to run benchmarks to tell the difference. The M2 Max was also blazing fast. 5 |

I purchased 980 PRO and 970 PRO both for Intel NUC Hades Canyon 65W i7 Kit (Slim) as primary and secondary SSD. Both works great, but both are working with same speed. 6000MB/s speed can not be seen with Intel NUC Hades Canyon 65W i7 Kit (Slim) 5 |

Finally saved enough money to complete this project. Did the Smoke Test with the Intel i7 12700 CPU and Samsung 1TB 980 m2 pcie ssd. Booted find. Updated to the latest bios. Good. Ready to install Windows 10. Great MB 5 |

I upgraded from an Intel i7-4790k. I didn't think this processor would make much difference because I have a nice graphics card (gtx 2070), but in VR games like Rec Room and I've noticed a huge difference. In rec room I used to have glitches that I thought were just from the game, but with the new processor I've now realized it was from the CPU not running fast enough.
