In the past, I was missing out on critical information because of the internet lag, and calls were being dropping due to my internet's speed. With the Belkin USB-C to Ethernet + Charge Adapter 100W plug-and-play adapter, I no longer have a lag or have to worry with those calls dropping off. The adapter keeps my computer charged and my connection completely sound while I'm hardwired. So far, I'm pleased that the adapter hasn't overheated and has stayed cool to touch. The adapter is both small and portable, and works with most USB-C compatible devices. Works fine with Windows and Mac. This adapter can basically max out a gigabit Ethernet connection. I have it connected to a USB port on the back of my monitor so that a single cable gets me not only power and video, but also a better internet connection.

I replaced a previous VAVA adapter because it was dropping the ethernet connection. This one does not have that issue. It has one less USB connection, but that is not an issue for me.

My laptop doesn't have an ethernet port. This USB adapter is a great solution.

I use this device with my Mac laptops for nearly everything, from USB to HDMI Output, to Ethernet connections. So far it has worked flawlessly. It is also compatible with SlingStudio hubs, for which the SS adapter is very hard to get.

This is essentially the same cable apple includes with an iPhone and iPad. If you're going to use it to charge and iPhone or iPad, make sure you have a USB adapter you can plug into an outlet. It's MFI certified which is certification for compatibility with Apple products. The cable is a little less flexible than Apple's cable. This might be due to a thicker and sturdier outer jacket which would make this cable a little more durable than the Apple cable.
