This adapter was used to connect an NEC221W to a Macbook Pro 2015. A third party version failed to connect with the Spectraview software needed to calibrate the monitor. This one worked without a flaw! 5 |

This is a nice tool to have on hand for my 2015 MacBook. It provides additional USB connections and gives the capability to connect the computer to ethernet, etc. I didn't realize I couldn't use it directly connected to this older laptop so I needed to order another adapter to use this docking station. I called B&H directly and the gentleman was very helping in finding the adapter that I needed. I have always had great service with B&H since the '80's when I shopped with them for my professional film cameras! 5 |

I'm using this with my older Macbook pro that does not have USB-C or ethernet ports. I just plugged this adapter in my USB-A port and it worked right away. The computer saw it and connected to my network without any issues. This will come in super handy when I need the fastest signal possible. Or if the wireless connection is spotty. I did a speed test with this adapter connected and I was getting over 500 mbps upload and download speeds on my work network connection, which is as fast as I can expect to get. I'm happy with this adapter and it would be hard to beat at this price. This is a very affordable solution if your computer does not have its own ethernet port. I needed to attach an Ethernet cable to a MacBook (of course no ports on the MacBook) so I got this with an adapter so I could use the cable and then the adapter with USB to plug into the laptop. Once the correct driver was installed for the MacBook / adapter all worked great. Instructions for all could be better. Thanks to B&H for super advice and support! 5 |

Coming from a 2015 MacBook Air, the performance was the first noticeable improvement. Working with a visualization software on my Macbook Air would being speed to a crawl. With my new MacBook Pro, speed seems to be a given thing and the true power is when I have to run a few heavy resource software. This small laptop can go the distance, that's for sure. Buying from B&H was a delight. I have not done so for a while, but they really dialled in the option selection so I was able to find the best machine for my budget. I was so happy with my purchase that I bought a second Macbook Pro for my wife a week later! 5 |
