Apple Macbook Air 2018 Vs Pro 2017

I got this for my MacBook Air 2018.  I tested it between my Mac and an Apple Cinema Display that connects via mini-Display port.  Works well.  I also tried it between the Mac and an HDMI-cabled monitor.  Also works well.  Its very lightweight and does what it says it will do.  I did not check the 4K compatibility.

Replaced a 2018 MacBook Pro with this Air. Am very happy so far. I miss the touch bar - was easy for autofilling things - but am getting used to living without it. Great speed and screen resolution.

I needed to replace a 2017 MacBook Pro and as a previous owner of a MacBook Air I thought it would give the Air another go. Gad I did, the display is perfect and I like the slimmer and lighter form. I also love the Touch ID. My pro only had 2 ports so I already have a Caldigit dock. B&H were wonderful as ever and the delivery was fast to CT.

I currently have a 2017 MacBook Pro that I need to send in for battery replacement, so purchased this early 2020 MacBook Air as a backup, while it is out of commission. It is surprisingly fast and powerful. I've already completed some video editing and developed an extensive PowerPoint photo montage set to music and it handled the tasks very well! I'm impressed with it and am enjoying it's features very much!

I had a mid-2017 MacBook Pro 13 that was still in great condition (and thank you B&H/Phobio for a great recycle price!) but was coming to the end of Apple Care. I wanted to keep the touch bar (unlike the prevailing consensus I love it) and do not need the additional ports that are reportedly coming in the new MBPs this year with the M1x/M2 chips. The new keyboard is great, very good travel, the Escape key is back, but it is totally true that the performance and battery life are INCREDIBLE. Apps, especially Apple Apps like Safari, Mail, Calendar, and Music open instantaneously (one bounce on the Dock or less). I have not done any heavy-lifting like video processing or photo editing yet but this is a great machine that I expect will last me another three years. I highly recommend getting 16GB of RAM as Big Sur wants to run in 8GB of space!

It works just fine with the latest 2017 MacBook Pro and is less expensive than the comparable Apple adapter.

After six years of MacBook Pro's, I decided I no longer needed the firepower of those very fine machines and opted for the Air in part because I could not find anyone who could tell me anything bad or even slightly wimpy re the 2020 Air. The other part that prompted the switch was that demand for the Air appeared to persuade Apple to stick with something they pioneered but seemed to have fallen out of love with. If so many people continued to buy Air's even when not a lot of innovation was being invested in them, then who am I to ignore what the market was saying about the device. And the machine is light, fast, and has enough juice to keep an old guy like me chugging away in my eighth decade. (Yep, I am heading toward 71 in a few months.) The point here is that Apple continues to make very good devices that outlast the competition and meet lots of peoples' needs for computing, communication and creativity, even for old farts such as I who started a thousand years ago with PCs and see the Air as my buddy for quite a few years to come.

Does it fit for 2017 macbook pro 13'? İf I purchase it.

It's huge for a 13'' MacBook Pro 2017 but It is a great Sleeve.
